The life of 2K+ io

Apply for 16 for orb farm. “Decline” Repeat for hours until your key group is on and can actually play the game. As Alliance with 99% of all LFD groups being horde so you can’t speak to their leader, and of those 99% a fair percent are lower io than you looking for 2500 io carries. How did you all break free from the cycle of Key Stone Master but unpuggable?

I just make sure to push my io early on so I’m always above the average.

This has been pretty much the strategy with our friend group is to push ours together. We don’t typically run our own keys outside our friend group to avoid people that leave and go unpunished because “YoU sHoUlD rUN wItH tRuStEd PeOpLe”

^ this.

I found some like-minded people who are also sick of pugging. And we never looked back.

Considering 2000 score can be achieved by only timing +13s, you are well below the curve if you are applying to 16s.

So you are the type to whisper “pick me pick me”, that’s an instant decline whenever anyone does that to me.

Post on your main you coward.

Not really having any issues pushing further but i’m a healer.

Heard its pretty rough for DPS to break into 16s+ if you’re not decked in Mythic Vault gear.

That’s where you start running your own key.

Also start befriending/adding tanks and healers, they’ll be able to piggyback you into keys.

A simple review of the raiderio website places players above 2k in the top 10%. With players of 2600 and higher in the top 1%. Your comments are baseless and disingenuous.

Mostly because IO score isn’t what people are looking at as you go higher.

It’s IO score COUPLED with how many times have you run that dungeon?

Because when you see IO 2033, and they’ve run the dungeon 4 times … well … you have pretty good odds as to what that means.

And those pretty good odds mean: you don’t know what you’re doing, regardless of what your IO score says.

If I have a choice between 1744 IO and 6 runs, and 1680 IO and 87 runs … I’m taking the latter every time.

My comment is based on fact. 2000 score can be achieved by only timing +13s. You applying to +16s with only 2000 score means you are below the curve of other applicants also applying to that key level. You don’t stand out.

Your score is low relative to the keys you are applying to.

My score is 2600, but my score is low for applying to +23 keys. Same thing happening to you. Stop trying to skip progression.

I simply just got tired of the amount of time I was wasting playing LFG simulator, and just stopped playing the game all together.

Once you stop playing the game you realize how much of a waste of time it truly is

1: if you don’t push your level up earlier then you will be behind the curve for signups. Basically if you have just now achieved 2k and are settled comfortably in the purple zone. You’re now competing with people who got that weeks ago and are sitting comfortably in the orange zone.

2: when I’m filling my own key I am looking to see not only their IO but also how high of a key they have completed. If I see someone with purple or even orange for my 17-18 key and their highest run is an untuned 12. Why would I choose them? Same with how many times they have run it.

3: post your own key and understand the influx of crazy that occurs. Especially if it’s a popular dungeon or a breakpoint number for a higher vault like 16, 18, 20 etc.

If you are dps the best advice I can give is to push your own keys and be friendly to the healer and tank. Especially if it’s a rough affix week for them. If you think they are good then attempt to befriend them for future runs. Start building your friend list up with people you enjoyed running with.

If you’re a healer then get friendly with good dps and tanks.

I went on my prot warrior which is 2400, speced arms (which I never play) and applied for 16s and barely spend 2 minutes applying to groups before i get accepted. Im gonna say it’s a you problem.

If you get good enough, you can just push your own key and always have groups.

You are at a level where you can get good enough, what’s the issue? Sounds like excuses.

post on your main, i will tell you why its hard for you to get in
