The Level 60 END game PVP, what classes are great?

So I am really interested in what classes are great at level 60 pvp( WPVP/ and BGs)[also i wont be raiding as i dont have that time,. but i want to pvp/world pvp. Any veterans with good insight?

I have am looking at , warlock or mage, and rogue or feral druid for an alt.
Are these classes good during pvp without the best gear available?

I only played till about level 40 before TBC and never had much experience on anything above during classic.

All classes are good for pvp, depending on what you want to do.

1v1 rogues are ok…if you manage the class well. They are very squishy in group pvp.

Feral Druids are also just ok. You have to be very good at being a Druid generally. But if you are, you can pretty much kill anything. FYI, feral pvp spec is 1/29/21.

Warlocks and mage are pretty much the best at pvp solo and in groups, as they have healthy damage, cc, and depending on your spec, survivability.

Out of all the classes, the rogue is the most gear dependent.

Mages pretty much just cc everything to death lol

I’m not sure how to answer this, because every class actually brings something different to the table and is played differently.

I’ll be rolling hunter for PvP personally.

Warrior was the most gear dependent because your rage generation was effected by your gear, specifically the quality of weapon. If you just dinged 60 with quest greens and some blues, your rage gen in combat would be very low compared to a warrior who already had decent gear.

No other class resource was effected by gear.

Out of all the classes he was interested in…not all the classes in the whole game.

Casters can kite, Druids can run. Rogues HAVE to be in melee to do anything. And if they have bad gear, they get exploded rather easily.

I think warlock is most gear dependent. They are stupid weak early on, then become probably the best 1v1 class with GOOD gear.

Rogue and druid can do well with ok gear, but you have to be smart. Druid kinda kites until it’s enemy either tries to flee or dies.

Warlock, shadow, mage, elemental shaman, hunter are going to be the best bets…

All ranged and can delete people fast while being fairly self sufficient.

Rogue and warrior I’d list as the next two…
Rogue is great dps for a solo queue player. They’re not super great in group pvp but stealth is a powerful tool for solo pvp.

Warriors on the other hand are probably the strongest class in the game by far when in a balanced group… but they are significantly weaker solo.

Game knowledge and add-ons are also as critical as gear for PvP…
Watching a few of these guys videos show how little a lot of folks here are prepared for Classic PvP and 1v1s
