What’s everyone’s opinion on The Legacy of Arathor questline? I really enjoyed it, it felt like a return to the classic World of Warcraft vibe for the first time in ages. with The humans distrusting the the Horde and the Horde being not thrilled about helping the humans etc. That said, I still find Faerin’s overly positive, trope-heavy character a bit much. What are your thoughts?!
I loved it and think it’s excellent; the best piece of content we’ve gotten post-Undermine(d)! It was nice getting a taste of what’s going on in the rest of Azeroth while we’re busy dealing with the latest world-ending crisis.
In fact, I really wish we got more of this kind of content in these minor updates. I know that this sort of thing doesn’t have much of a “long tail” because there’s no associated currency or rep to grind - it’s just a solid little piece of narrative content. Despite that, I found this to be way more engaging and enjoyable than any of the 11.1.5 features (which weren’t bad, but to me they’re just another thing to grind for cosmetic rewards in a game already filled with grinds for cosmetic rewards).
It was really good. Nice to see other areas and story lines.
It was awesome and fun. Minus the killing the innocent forest trolls. I did like seeing different syndicate bandits through.
Absolutely god awful. Blizzard writers have completely lost the plot. Apparently, Stromgarde is full of racists, and orcs and humans should be friends now because “tolerance and mercy?” Give me a break!
I thought it was fine. Laid lots of groundwork, introduced a few new characters and motivations, overall pretty solid.
