I don’t always Ascend, but when I do…
… it’s during the last 2 seconds of a trash pull.
Why does it seem like Ascension only happens when whatever you’re fighting is <10% of its life? I’m pretty sure 9 out of 10 times it actually happens, it’s either in the last 10% of a mob’s life, or worse, when I pop a heal on myself after a battle to use a maelstrom weapon charge up before it wears off.
You Ascend for Thorim’s.
I Ascend for the damage proc.

Build the recommended raid talents and drop storm blast and storms fury and pick up crash lightning and crashing storms. Make an at curser macro for your totem and go HAAM.
