In regards to that leaked survey, I’m shocked that one of the answers wasn’t like “after mists would you be interested in skipping WoD and going straight to Legion?”
It’s no secret that Legion is in the conversation of top 3 expansions for wow of all time. A lot of players actually want a legion classic. And for that to be the final classic we get. So its weird that it wasn’t one of the questions.

I don’t think they’ll ever put an extremely obvious answer on a survey. There are probably 10 people in the world that actually liked that expansion and most of them are on this forum
Skipping WoD would be an admission of guilt.
It’s probably not a question because they have zero intention of skipping WoD.
Classic is just a progression server that’s going to run through all of the expansions. We’re not stopping at Legion either. As long as it remains even semi-popular, they’ll keep progressing it.
I despise WoD more than anyone on this forum, and even I think a classic version might be interesting if they give it the SoD treatment.
Everyone’s argument for why WoD is better than SL boils down to, “well, it never received all its content”. Because of this I’m curious to see what a fully developed version of WoD would look like.
MOP is not even semi-popular. End of the line for classic!
I came to say the same thing.
I assume they will just redo every expansion, since some players prefer the smaller dedicated classic comunities.
I have zero interest in classic since i have been subbed since vanilla and don’t use rose colored goggles.
