Maldraxxus armor set. Take Unity with you to do any Maldraxxus WQ or calling, there’s a chance it’ll drop a piece of transmog.

One of the alternate colors for the Necrolord set can only be obtained by completing WQs in Maldraxxis with the companion Unity from the Abomination Factory but there’s pretty significant RNG as to how often they drop. Sometimes you’ll get a piece three days in a row, sometimes you’ll go a few weeks without one.

The build-a-bom was the best covenant feature, imo. It was so useful before flying, to be able to run around on The Professor, an abom that could fight while you were riding him, allowing for mounted combat, no fall damage, mining while mounted and he also had a significant buff he could give you, for when you dismounted.
Even after flying was introduced, it’s still fun to work on, but I just gave up after I switched covenants.

I did the garden thing and ignored everything else. Seemed like a hige waste of anima.
I do want the Kyrian purple sets, but… eff that.

Yeah I did the conservatory for like 2 days and said screw this and quit, lol. I still get those dumb seeds from callings and just vendor them all. Just one big waste of time, imo.

Side note: if anyone wants to farm the Unity set, the link for the Community is below. People will call out when a WQ awards a piece so you don’t have to do every single one every day if you don’t want to.

I finished my unity set while I still haven’t done the stitchyard set. And I finished the abom meta back in early August.

You can also just join the “Maldraxxian Unity set announcer” discord. I just muted every channel there except the announces, and would get a ping when someone found one. Selfish, but simple.
The last one they called out for US servers was on the 2nd. Before that, there were 2 on the 29th.
Upgrading your anima conductor was necessary to get enough grateful offerings to buy gear off the vendor. I channeled anima to one “treasure” in Ardenweald that turned out to be a quest that was utterly broken, and put that function at the bottom of my “to do” list.
The daily quests very quickly proved to not be worth my time.

I just started with the free offer. I have 4 characters, one at each covenent, doing callings for renown. The world quests are boring as heck. I’m almost at renown 80 on them, have barely touched the campaign. Nor have I had time to get to dungeons. But I could see that only getting one grateful offering a day means it would take more than a month for each piece of gear.
After I hit 80 renown I’m going to concentrate on getting flight.
Is it possible to link the maldraxxian discord group again? This old link is not working
