The Last Mage stuck permanently on Hallowfall map after doing its followups

I didn’t get the breadcrumb quest The Last Mage before doing the rest of its chain, and now I naturally can’t do the breadcrumb. However, the quest marker is permanently stuck on the Mereldar icon of my map.

EDIT: Workaround found:

Same issue. I don’t have bad OCD but this is triggering it.

yea, im missing like 4 story lines from here and thats the only one on the map and its not even doable. been driving me nuts

I am having the exact same issue. I am also having the same experience with the “A Concerned Friend” quest in Dornogal

Same here. I’ve finished “The Last Mage of Hallowfall” storyline but apparently I am missing “The Last Mage” quest and can’t accept it (which is odd since it is the first step of the storyline).
The same is happening with “A Concerned Friend” in Dornogal.

I think I found a workaround for this for now. I took an alt to Hallowfall to explicitly pick up the breadcrumb from Mereldar’s cathedral and turn it in. My main’s indicator is now cleared.

I have this stuck on my map too. I can not tell if I have completed it or not.
