The last day of 9.0.5

I do not care one bit if the game is profitable.

Profit over fun. Great motto for a gaming company.

That is scarily accurate.

Man I can only even still post here cause of TBCC. Lol

The game is plenty of fun, maybe you should try the raid? Push some keys? Make friends and join a community?

Or is fun having the entire game experience handed to you like it’s an easy mode of Mario so you can feel accomplished, because actual accomplishments evade you?

Disagree.

I did and it was ok. Nothing great.

Why? So I can cross my fingers and pray to RNGesus that the vault will actually give me something useful?

Tried that, alliance is dead. The raid guild I was in fell apart 4 weeks in CN and recruitment is dead. I’ve tried communities but they’re more dead than guilds are.

I have more achievement points than you so I’m not asking for the game to be “handed” to me as you so condescendingly put it. I’d like some good content outside of the raid/M+. Wow used to have that but not anymore. Should I farm my 35 anima and save up the literal 10s of thousands I need to actually accomplish anything with it? That’s not difficult that’s just a tedious chore.

I think if I ever return to Retail I would Chromie time with an NE and a NB I love their customization immensely. Maybe level lock to 49 and see both factions loremasters.

What content did WoW ever have outside of raids, PvP and dungeons? World quests with a different name?

Just lol. Your arguments are opinion based, and purely align with your lack of desire to play the 3 paths the game has always run off of.

I had 4 CE alliance guilds approach me, didn’t go looking or apply at all, so that part is simply not true. I was alliance for a decent chunk of EP, and had a high raider IO and PVP rating as well as CE. You don’t want to play the things the game has to offer, and your thought process based on that is to pretend the GAME is the problem. I suggest a mirror.

What was the “good content” WoW had outside of M+ and raids? Players always bring this up but never elaborate.

Dungeons count as M+ btw so don’t tell me dungeon crawling with your buddies for 5 hrs was “fun.”

Was it open world PVP? I do miss PVP realms over this warmode crap with its participation trophies.

Did you look back how far they go? Nah, bet you didn’t, check theirs at all? You know what he was implying, when a bridge person makes an appearance in every thread to trash talk the game, then accuses someone of stalking them, you don’t see the disconnect here?

Are you bridge people too?

I am at work, this is generally when I forum. I will be on when I clock out. Common sense right? You see it’s fun to play with people when I am bored between tasks.

Well let’s see you once had meaningful professions. Those pretty much don’t exist anymore. We had meaningful reps with a hub. You know reps where you could earn something meaningful like a helm or shoulder socket, or actual raid equivalent gear at exalted?

See above.

Sure, see wow is perfectly fine, it’s the PLAYERS fault. Get off your high horse. I’m sorry get off Blizzard’s high horse.

I like how you change my words completely to suit what you do.

Think this helps you?

14 more sleeps.

I state my opinion on the game. Not my fault if zealous Blizzard defenders swarm me.

  • Proper lore opposed to random 5D chess scenarios. Sure we had books back then to fill the blank spots but not everything had to be shoved into external media to make sense of the story
  • Proper attention to professions like another poster said. This was a huge part of the game and it has devolved over time.
  • The destruction of meaningful content like Order Halls just because they wanted to reinvent every single wheel in the game.
  • Removal of popular lengthy questlines which add to the lore like the MoP cloak quest or the WoD ring quest or the attunement storylines.
  • Lack of attention to how classes play and making them more generic and dependant on borrowed power and destroying them every expansion instead of having a progression tree.

In every thread that pops up. In some that don’t even talk about your issues.

That’s the thing, you don’t know when to stop. And when plenty are tired of it, start calling you out on it, you double down and call us stalkers?

Why stay for the 14 days at all?

Last I checked this was a public forum for anyone to post in with an active subscription. Why do you keep responding to me?

I actually really miss Legions crafting quests. I wish that would have moved forward with new xpacs. Those were so cool!

Remember when you had a storyline to learn the lore behind crafting a recipe and understood the story which came along with it?

Instead of standing in front of an NPC and clicking a button?

The gear was one slot that was sometimes itemized for a certain spec or class to use it over one raid piece maybe. Hardly a replacement to raiding.

Crafting in this game has always been non-engaging and garbage, and is actually one of the longest standing “WoW is gonna die reeeeee” complaints ever.

WoW is fine, WoW is actually great, it has some things they could shore up for sure but that’s uhhhhh life? It will never be perfect for every player base and personal opinion.

I was cool with BfA until Mechagon. That drove me away.
