The lack of a tank spec for evoker is really showing why this game is cutting corners

How about a second dps or healer spec?

I love ur name sparkle wings :heart::heart:

Because, unlike Blizzard, Wendy’s never cuts corners.

Why would they add ANOTHER Tank capable Hero Class? The DK covers that. It was time for a Ranged DPS/Healer Hero Class.

Get over yourself.

Have a great day!

Lot of people butthurt about the lack of a dracthyr tank spec it seems.

I’d much rather they leave their vision for Dracthyr uncompromised. The niche of a draconic tank is still unfulfilled, however. I think it would be best filled by adding Drakonids as a playable race, with access to Warrior and Paladin, at least.

WHY WOULD THEY ADD ANOTHER DPS OR HEALER

Because most players play DPS and they already added multiple tank spec classes more so than healers. The only healer they added since Vanilla was Monks.

As we have seen with the inclusion of DK, DH, and Monks adding playable tank classes had zero impact on the pug tank shortage.

on a related note - the next hero class should have 4 specs. We need to dethrone the druids.

Cloth Ranged Hero Class.
Also…Blizzard has spoken, your points are moot.
K thanks…BYE!

No 3rd spec = shaking it up?? Limiting options is shaking it up, alright then.

Those dragons are all obviously dps.
The black dragons only cared about power not defending.

Deathwings plate was needed as he was Squishie and once he got low HP he went full pure dps but was wiped by raid team.

Dragons can’t be tanks. The only tank dragon is the chromatic one and it was banished.

The dps was a range which wow has a lack of compared to melee. The healing just makes sense. The drakthyr are too squishy to be tank. Too prissy and delicate.

More class options for tanks will not result in more tanks.

There are some fundamental design flaws in WOW that keep the tank population low. Blizzard are aware of these flaws, and they are comfortable with those flaws, because resource scarcity (in this case, scarcity of tanks) creates a sense of urgency, and this increases player engagement.

Every class in the game could have a tank spec, and it would not significantly increase the number of players tanking.

Tanking isn’t intuitive or rewarding enough.

They speak for the whole community. It’s one of those people

People truly will complain about anything

I’m reading people arguing against the fact that this class should have a tank spec. These people are completely wrong, they don’t add anything, do not want to make the game better and sit with their little pity parties thinking they know everything.

This class having to tank spec would 100% help the tank shortage. Would it fix the problem all the way, no. You guys think that there’s a simple yes or no fix. Life is not like that.

This class should 100% have came with a tank spec. Blizzard really only gives about 60 to 70% effort these days, and they cut corners everywhere. People are tired of it.

To the people pushing for good change, keep doing it and ignore all these douche bag trolls.

History shows you are wrong, completely. The addition of DK, Monk, and DH tanks did not help the pug tank shortage in any statistically significant way. Not even within their released expansion.

Just like how DK, Monk, and DH made a meaningful impact on the pug tank shortage right.

Quoting this for posterity.

You know nothing Jon Snow.

WHere do you even get your info from. Oh that’s right you make it up or pull it from your butt.

You are one of the people that should take a break. You add nothing to game, do not want to make it better, pull “facts” out of no where and combat people trying to make the game better.

Get lost.
