The Kyrian seem a little too Vanilla ice cream

IDK, I feel like they are kind of a trope race with a sort of rehash of the valarjar mixed in there. I would have liked to see a new art style or some sort of twist to the theme.

I kind of feel the same way about the Necrolords. Just bleh evil stuff.

Revendreth seems to be adding in a really unique art style on top of a WoW spin on vampires, which is really cool. Ardenweald is doing a dark fairy tale take on the dreamers, which should be a lot more exciting than the usual blah blah Mlafurion loves trees shtick, druids good guys.

I can agree with that.

It seems very similar to the Halls of Valor concept, minus the Viking theme.

Apparently [spoilers] they do have a bit of a dark twist to their storyline, considering their whole thing is about erasing the memories of their past life to turn them into better workers/soldiers.

I agree that the overall theme is a bit of a rehash, but the places it rehashes are also places that focused on death and the afterlife, so… intentional???

There are people who play humans, so I don’t think being too plain is the end of the world.

Sometimes straight forward is good.

I mean, my mom makes cheesecake and she uses yogurt to create yogurt cheese (cuts down on the fat). All those fancy yogurts are not exactly helpful if you’re trying to make yogurt cheese.

Plain basic vanilla yogurt or lemon yogurt is the best.

Hey it’s patch’s!! Been so long! Just kidding we already had this discussion twice now. Stop disappearing >:(

Just realized how much the Guild Name checks out.

Seriously, you make threads like every 2 minutes.

I am incredibly suspicious of a group of beings who claim to have my best interests at heart, yet wish for me to forget everything that makes me, me.

What is the point of living and creating memories, of having good times, and bad times, if you don’t get to dwell on the past and recall its many joys and many lessons?

How do I end up in the Hall of Valor as an afterlife? Of all the possible afterlives the Halls of Valor/Valhalla really do sound the best. Eat and drink all day, fight and … interact all night, and then tell tall tales about it with everyone you meet.

Only covenant that isn’t a total cliche is the fae. It’s a bit of a unique take on fairies, unlike the angels, vampires, and zombies.

big castle

Well the vampires don’t suck blood, they suck uhhhh… anima juice?

It is a race made for the boring religious conservative puritans, most of us know we are not gonna touch that cringe even if their abillity is the most OP

Necrolords ftw

Uh, no. It’s made for priest/paladins aesthetics. Has nothing to do with puritans, lmao.

Same thing rly

I mean they are angels basically

Not just humans, the most popular races on both factions are the most “plain” ones. It’s not a perfect rule but generally the more quirky/unique a race is, the fewer people that play it.

I saw ice cream. I’m here for the ice cream!

All four covenants look like bland dull stereotypes.

There is no ice cream, only gelato. Everything must be bespoke!

Speaking of cringe.
