I was a little surprised to see a group of them on the shore of Bladefist bay, as though they were moving in like the Vulpera did.

They’ve been there since the end of BfA. Unfortunately, they haven’t moved from there since. I still check on them every patch to see if anything changes.
…though if they do leave that beach, it better mean they went to the Horde side of that character creation screen. I don’t want to see them abandoned after we left Nazjatar abruptly.

Winter Veil is up in-game!
I’ll be gradually taking festive screenshots during the event for the different race request megathreads. I’m hoping Kelfin will be able to celebrate it with the Horde someday. I mean, they’re RIGHT outside Orgrimmar, just waiting to get an official invite for Horde membership!

I try not to get my hopes up these days because I worry even if they release them that they will be done poorly. Plus I don’t want to be caught in a cycle of worrying whether or not they would be playable. I obviously should not assume, but it seems like unnecessary frustration. I do wish you well in regards to the holidays as well.

Indeed and lets also throw in gnome demon hunters into the mix. After all. Following the events of the past 6 months I’d say I have firmly earned the titled of"The Betrayer". Of course betraying the burning legion is most definitely a good thing.

Seems like a lot of love was put into this, would have honestly made sense in BfA, but Azshara is still out there, who knows if we ever get to return to Nazjatar?

I am not quite sure Nazjatar is of much value since her palace was raided. There is many places across the great sea that she could make home.
I am constantly use the kelfin toy. Love there models. Same with Ankoan. Hoping we get that pair one day.
Strangely they have nice paladin animations, and its fun using them as boomkin druids… maybe one day…

I am actually kind of happy with my shaman right now. At the end of the day there is far more to wow then just allied races.
I have a goblin shaman and rogue right now. I wanted a brewmaster monk. I also find them fun on paladin, they have nice animations for them via the two kelfin disguise toys.

With a new patch and as promised, I checked on the Unshackled on the beaches of Durotar.
…and once again, they’re just chilling there. Maybe roasting some marshmallows and playing some Nintendo or something. Nothing new that I saw.
Didn’t notice much else different in Nazjatar. Then again, that area is time-locked, though still worth a look, in my opinion.
It seems like we’ll have a 9.2.5 patch for Shadowlands, and hopefully we’ll get a new expansion announcement in the near future. I’ll keep checking on them as we go through patches and expansions to see if anything changes with them.
Still hoping to see them become playable, of course. I mean, they’re RIGHT there. Likely ready and willing to become champions of the Horde! Someone get a banner in that embassy so they can start their new home in the waters near Orgrimmar!

April 19th will be when the next expansion is announced:
Not really sure what all to expect, to be honest. I know the biggest rumor seems to involve dragons in some fashion. I am hoping we’ll see some playable race requests become a reality, though I am going to temper my expectations and keep an open mind. Then again, Blizzard has been looking at player requests and changes for the game in general, so maybe we’ll be lucky to see some new races people have wanted appear.
As promised, I’ll keep an eye out on anything Kelfin related, including continuing to check on the NPC’s on the shores of Durotar. I know Azshara is still out there, so if she gets involved as an antagonist in some fashion, maybe we could see the Unshackled and Ankoan back in the picture again. It would be a great opportunity to make them playable races if it does happen.
Regardless of what actually happens, I won’t forget our Unshackled allies, and I’ll continue to support playable Kelfin on the Horde side of that character creation screen!

Oooh, the new Hearthstone expansion is Voyage to the Sunken City, focusing on Zin-Azshari and Nazjatar. There will be 135 new cards, and I am hopeful that we may get some new kelfin art! Waveblade Okani shows up among the cards that have been revealed so far, so maybe we will be seeing Neri, Poen and Mak, and Vim show up, too. The key art is beautiful, and features a mechagnome in a mermaid tail skirt that I would love to have in-game!
Update: It looks like a kelfin or gilgoblin appears briefly in the cinematic, at about the 1:37 mark. Really enjoying the underwater vibes.
