I’m trying to think of what the biggest, baddest reveal for the identity of The Jailer could possibly be, and I’m over here thinking…the OG Warchief Blackhand, maybe? Or King Llane?
It’s from the anime/manga Bleach. Yhwach was the leader villain of the final arc of the manga. He had an impressive mustache, which the Jailer lacks.

I’m old enough (30) to not remember some of it, but young enough to know that the Bleach manga / anime references in Shadowlands are smacking me in the face left and right… I had a HUGE weeb / hipster phase in my early 20s, it was part of my (admittedly fragile) coping mechanisms for when I was dealing with being abused at home by my parents after moving with them to an island… I pretty much escaped into a LOT of ish then… some of me from back then is still around, and people who know me can tell…
