So isn’t the Jailer just a copy of Sargeras, the guy who dropped the giant sword into Azeroth.
So I thought Sargeras glimpsed into the void , chaos etc. and thought he had to unify the universe, the pantheon be damned under one banner specifically the legion banner.
So the Jailer has to unite us under maw banner to fight a mysterious villain…
Isn’t this basically a very similar story line? What was the point of the Jailer or the shadowlands at all.
Also it seems all deity etc are just robots pumped full of soul anima?
Zovaal mentioned that without all forces united, we couldn’t stand up to whatever is out there. It’s a seventh force we haven’t been introduced to yet. So we have no idea.
My brain is only comprehending the light Naru and Void entity being left as big bads unless they actually write some nuanced smaller stories. What other bads am I missing?
Also, to answer the other part of your question from earlier: The difference between Zovaal and Sargeras is that Sargeras never strayed from his goal. He only cared about wiping out all life. Zovaal went from trying to figure out how to fix things to being full of vengeance and wanting to rule. That was his downfall.
What in the game hinted at a seventh cosmic force ? I don’t recall reading any quest dialogue hinting at this but I could of glanced over it.
I don’t even know how that would fit into a realm that exists as it does now. If anything next expansion should be the Infinite Dragon flight time traveling villains mucking around with stuff.
I don’t think we ready for another cosmic level event.
As mentioned before, Part1 , Part 2 , and Part 3 of the Expedition Report A37J are written by Al’firim, and they describe their growing understanding of the six or seven primal forces - and how it’s the seventh force that holds together the other six
I can imagine Danuser being proud and digging Zovaal up and sticking him in our faces. Please no.
The “Blizzard = proud” meme doesn’t apply to the game design team but I would say that it definitely applies to the lore team. Danuser had to one-up his mentor/superior Metzen, to, in his mind, come out of his shadow. But he didn’t have that creative spark so he just copied his homework but made it worse.
