The instant cast issue

No instant cast ranged ability with should be doing more than 25% of someone’s HP if both players are the same level and have relatively equal gear.

The prime offenders right now are Startsurge and Shadow Word: Death, but this should apply to all instants now and in the future. The only reasonable exceptions are instants that require significant investment from a cooldown or resources (Presence of Mind or Arcane Surge for example) or require a proc related to getting other casts off to use (I.E Hot Steak, Brain Freeze, Nightfall ect).

Hard hitting instant casts make sense on melee characters, because you can kite them or CC them to prevent said damage, or at least slow it down.

That’s the game. Melee hit hard so don’t let them touch you, ranged can also hit hard but have wind up time for said abilities and have to dance around keeping melee off them and “stops” from other ranged classes (counterspell, spell lock, earth shock, feign death, avoiding CC ect)

Please tune the game blizzard. SoD has been some of the most fun many of us have had with WoW, and its even better that it’s in a classic environment but without some much needed tuning PvP is going to stay a cancerous one shot FOTM fest and it’s a shame because PvP in classic is a major part of its charm

Starsurg only does 50% of your hp if you stack stamina gear okay. Yes you will be stunned and only get 1 global before being hit for the other 50% of your hp, but it’s totally fair and balanced. You just don’t understand. You see hunter’s did 80 damage every 3 seconds last phase and that was broken and warranted 15 nerfs. This is different. This has a cooldown! That’s why hunters should be nerfed again to address your concerns.

definitely gotta stack that stam, really glad blizzard didn’t make a weird decision like removing stamina and only increasing damage stats, that would be nightmare.

You’re right, those hunters have had it too good again.

I love getting hit by warlocks for 2400 good thing you nerfed mage healing them selfs not like it would help

Ok so i have to sacrifice all my other damage stats and just stack stam, while you get to wear whatever the hell you want and still do 1k starsurges? makes sense

ur saying hunters warranted 15 million nerfs for doing exactly what druids are doing but somehow druids don’t deserve the nerf. lol

I’m not defending starsurge but maybe if you or someone else casted a heal on you during the six seconds between Starsurges you would have a different outcome.
