Anniversary is going to DIE when AQ releases.
You think auction house inflation is bad now?
Imagine how bad it’ll get with the on-going gold buying when everyone quits during AQ.
Can’t stress this enough, megaservers were a terrible idea.
Not releasing even a single RP or RP-PvP server was an awful move.
I wish Blizzard actually did something about RMT and the gold farming bots.
It’s funny how a private server I won’t name doesn’t even tolerate that.
Plus, if there was ever a Classic+, this private server is it.

We’re a Subscription Farm.
They do not care about Anniversary Servers. That’s why we’re all shoved on one FORCED Megaserver to be forgotten about.

Not for pvp’rs, megaserver was awesome until they allowed boosting and then it died like sod.
No world = no wow
Just how it goes

the scarab grind is going to be EPIC.
Sorry you can’t camp lowbies all day, doesn’t mean the game is dying
I camp people my lvl, but I am on the best pvp’rs in classic so i dunno.
If your low lvl is getting camped i suspect this has been going on since wows inception.
I only camp low lvl bots
Sure you are
lol you think I play on the Visa™ server?
Oh you’re scared of world pvp, my fault. And yes to the first line.
Yeah being a ghost for half my time in the game sure is scary lmao
You’re on a pve serv you shouldn’t even be allowed to comment about pvp tbh.
You won’t die IRL if you get killed in STVietnam.
And no one cares IRL that you play a game less skillful than checkers at a high level
If only true classic pvp’ers can talk about pvp there will be like 5 people allowed to talk total

Anniversary is going to drop off BIG when AQ launches.
Every classic realm experiences a dropoff post BWL. Every.
Every single private server experienced it. 2019 classic experienced it. SoM experienced it. SoD experienced it BUT they reclaimed a lot of it with Kara + Scarlet Enclave because both were genuinely well done.
Anniversary isnt going to be the one to buck the trend. The reason it happens is because AQ and especially Naxx feel more like chores than MC and BWL do. And i say that as someone that killed KT in 2006, multiple times on Pservers, killed him again in 2020, again in 2022 on SoM and last year on SoD. Ill kill him again later this year on Anniversary.
The dropoff always happens brcause AQ and Naxx require significantly more outside of raid prep. You cant just get buffs and raidlog. You have to show up outside raid and buff farm times to get certain things done.
On top of that, AQ and Naxx are also more punishing of individual mistakes and they dont JUST punish the individual anymore, they punish the RAID. The average casual that got hardcarried through MC and BWL while having their brain turned off suddenly gets the spotlight put on him every time he trips over an easily avoided mechanic. Think “that guy” on Gorefiend in BT or Archimonde in Hyjal.
So trying to doom over the continuation of a 20 year trend simply doesnt work unless your target audience is as braindead and lacking in knowledge as you are. And if they are, well then who cares what they think? Theyre as braindead as you are.

Who cares? Just play the game and stop worrying about the future of a video game.

They just finished up mostly with SOD so I’m sure blizzard’s next watchful eye will be on Mop classic then after the hype for that slows down most likely late in the year TBC anniversary will show up with maybe and I say maybe info on a classic plus at blizz con 2026.
You sure don’t have a big head at all, do you?
Add to that they have massively stepped up their ban waves. So folks can’t just swipe to stay caught up. If you don’t already have the gold good luck!

Insert Gif of Homer Simpson as a sandwich-man ringing a bell while yelling “the end is near” here.
The only day you want to be there for is when the gates open.
