The "In Dreams" quest needs to be fixed

It would be helpful if the people that join these discussions stopped commenting just to say that the quest ‘worked for them.’ This does nothing for the conversation as it’s already a known bug. What people want to know is how this was fixed/dealt with by a GM if they met some kind of desirable resolution. This is not to be found in any threads.

I failed the quest once, and even though I felt like garbage, I tried again a bit later.

The key (from my understanding,) is to make sure you are close enough for the boss mob to kill you, preferably before he resets after killing your escort.

I had to wait about 1-2 mins for Tyrion, but holy crap was I relieved when he came.

Oh also, don’t release until it completes…but that may be a no-brainer.

So, key points:

1. Make sure you die to boss.
2. Do not release.
3. Be patient.
4. Run back soon as it completes and turn in.

All that said, the quest should NOT be this difficult to do right…but #NoChanges is also an excuse for Blizzard to save on man-power to fix these things. Maybe…

Edit: the boss sees through the disguise, but I’m not 100% sure. Dying to the mobs before your escort dies might also not be good, but I can’t say for sure.
