That’s just super rare. Every time I get hunted it’s a crit for 50-60% of my health.

I’m not justifying anything, the skills can hit that yes, its on you to counter play it, you can literally sap the DH when he is comming to you and the skill will go on CD and no dmg will be taken, yes the only skill that does anything at all in pvp that can also be countered by UUUUUUH guess what… Bubble? its a casting skill with a big animation and a sound that only that skill makes, if you cant react to it, sounds like a you problem.
Only time I’ve had it hit for 6k is if the target has a decent or good wall/defensive up. Usually normal hits for 8-10k if I’m able catch my target with their pants down.
Just you turds wait until I crit you for 7-8k with Fel rush though :>
You realize the Hunt is a 0.88 second cast time right? That’s my current cast time with 14% base haste…it’s actually a 0.7 cast time in Meta.
Any DH with 1 braincell is using this at point blank range while target is stunned to ensure it lands, so no, you can’t just “Bubble” as a reaction to it. Could preemptively pop bubble and hope you guess right but that’s a pretty crappy way to play as a paladin with your major defensive CD.
I am so very down with them nerfing the hunt into oblivion as long as they beef DH damage and survivability to levels around say, arms warrior, yeah, that’d be great.

Wait til you see sinful brands damage, its insane.
What if we nerf a bunch of strong stuff. And then all the now nerfed classes get owned by other classes with stronger stuff, so they go nerf them too, then they get nerfed, and then rinse and repeat. … ?

Our damage is fine , it’s our survival/defensive capability that blows. If they did nerf the hunt substantially then yes our damage would need to be slightly brought up to make up for that damage loss.
These are the biggest issues for us:
Darkness on a 3 min CD? : 70% to RNG damage. If you high roll, you negate an entire burst go from the enemy team. If you low roll? You die or your teammate(s) die.
Blur 1 min CD post nerf? : 50% dodge (i hardly notice this against any melee right now) and 20% damage reduction…so a half assed wall which we still die through most of the time.
Solutions I’ve come up with:
Make cover of darkness pvp talent baseline but reduce it’s % to 50-60% so we can choose another PvP talent for utility/survival.
Revert blur dodge % and damage reduction % to BFA %'s but increase CD to 1.5 min.

I stated earlier, I dont doubt it, to people that have low vers. As today, there seems to be a bunch of PVErs about now, and they do take alot more.
Your pally has low vers. He got DA, he got Lucky Variance, and prob has a 220 weapon which I forgot to factor, when I stated my damage which is still 7kish normals, on Actually geared opponents.
He could also have a much higher UM than me.
My 7k figures, were from a few matches and duels against my geared guildies. We all have 24-25% vers. So ya someone that has 10% vers, is going to get hit considerably harder.
