They def look pretty cool. Not hideous either. I’d love if they became a allied race. Though I saw one with a tail? Why would a spider person have a tail? Spiders don’t have tails. That’s more like a scorpion person…spiders and scorpions are related though right?

They aren’t technically spiders, so they could have whatever appendages the devs deem them fit to have. But yeah, I actually wouldn’t mind having them as a playable race. They are humanoid enough that I wonder if that is their plan somewhere down the line.

Probably one of the only allied races requests I can support. Everyone is so keen on asking for reskins of races we have. These spider people look pretty original.

Sorry for the hot take but I think they made the familiar nerubians models far cuter.

edit: Finally got that off my chest.
It’s a kingdom of nerubians willingly joining forces with another Harbinger of the Void (and canonically one that could be very powerful) to wipe out the mortal races and bring about some dark empire.
I’d love to hear how they spin this into an allied race.

They said that there is an underclass that doesn’t agree with their queen and doesn’t want to serve the void. There is an opening for them joining the factions.

I glossed over the part where there’s enough of them to want to leave their kingdom and join Horde/Alliance vs just get rid of Xala’tath and go back to being Nerubians.

I read the title of this thread and already knew it was going to be “allied race??? allied race??? playable?? playable pls??”
Was not disappointed. 
I always wanted the full insectoid experience myself.

I mean, that didn’t stop Blizzard from giving us Vulpera, who are a very small nomadic race centralised in one single small desert zone, or Void Elves, who are literally a tiny fraction of a small population of elves.
Granted, both of those are colossal mistakes…
