The House of the Chosen - Quest Bugged

“The House of the Chosen” quest in Maldraxxus will not complete for me. It’s a simple location triggered quest where you reach x destination and then the quest completes for turn in. Here, when I reach the designated location, nothing happens, so I can’t turn in the quest or progress.

Some things I’ve already tried to troubleshoot the problem unsuccessfully:

  • Abandon and retake the quest
  • Leave the House of the Chosen and re-enter
  • Explore all of the House of the Chosen areas
  • Leave the House of the Chosen area, abandon and then retake.
  • Completely logging out and back in.
  • Abandoning the questing, logging out, then accepting the quest after relog.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a way around it? This is only happening on this toon. My other characters have passed this quest successfully, no problems, on the same server.

I can’t level this toon up until the issue is resolved. :confused:

How do you access the rear back area of House of the Chosen without fighting 50 mobs before getting there for the world quest?

Not sure if you managed to get through that point, but for anyone that is struggling in the future, I wanted to suggest what made it work for me.

The location trigger is not directly at the location marked on the map for the quest, it’s actually 140 yds back up the path so you’ll easily skip over it if you try to just fly over. You have to get low to the ground at about (40, 62) to trigger the next portion of dialogue which directs you to speak with Draka.
