The Horde will never change without punishments

Russia is the USSR? or the Russian empire?

The answer is no.

well no, but that’s not because they changed their name or refounded

rome wasn’t JUST italy, and the roman empire was much…much bigger than one nation
as all empires are
empires are not nations

do you not understand what an empire is?

A territory so large that its rulers were given to start calling empire.

What I am going to do is that a nation falls is destroyed or reborn through important historical events.

a fracture the installation of a new system of government.

an empire is a group of nations and groups that are ruled by a specific ruler or nation
nations aren’t empires, even the ruling nation of an empire isn’t the empire itself

sometimes empires are iron fisted, and sometimes individual nations are given almost entire freedom of choice in matters and only have to answer to the ruling nation on specific matters

a nation doesn’t cease to be a nation when it becomes a part of an empire

and the USSR was a group of soviet countries that banded together
it’s legitimately in their name that they’re not a single entity
Union of Soviet Socialist Republics

There are empires and empires,There are nations that have occupied territories so large that they have proclaimed themselves empires, there are others like the ones you mention.

the one who really decides whether or not it is their government.

Already and what caused the changes as nations?

historical events, loss of territories, changes of political systems.

Lordaeron disappeared and was replaced by The Forsaken

The Forsaken themselves are not the people of Lordaeron alone or continue with their tradition.

The only condition that makes you The Forsakenis to be an undead and serve these.

If, on Tomorrow’s Day, Calia or anyone else refund the kingdom and retakes its identity, we could consider it Lordaeron again.

dude even in your example (the roman empire) no nation ceased to be while ruled by the roman empire
they ruled over many, but part of what made that work was having local rulers

nothing, some nations failed but many of the nations that made up the USSR are still around today

nor are the people of stormwind made up of the people that have always inhabited the region

yes they do, some things have changed but then not all traditions are followed forever anyway

but

the U.S isn’t made up of the people that founded it alone, nor do they follow many of the traditions the founders did

nor britian, russia, france, nigeria, ethipoia, kenya, iran, iraq, afghan , somalia, chad, australia, canada, mexico

what you’re claiming is enough to “no longer be the same nation” qualifies every country to be different

not acknowledging people’s claims to their land when they temporarily had to leave it doesn’t negate their claim

even not taking into consideration the forsaken Lordeon is still considered a kingdom by the alliance, albeit one that is currently lacking it’s territory
it’s why Calia is still considered a princess and why anduin sought to reunite the forsaken and the still living former inhabitants of the kingdom

yeah because the only people that can claim a nation is the former rulers!, good thing we knew that before the centuries of wars between france and england

Illoramoan is of Lordaeron. Illoramoan was born in Lordaeron, lived her entire life there (different name likely) died along with her people, and was raised into undeath along with them. Who ‘else’ can claim that heritage, and where would they put Illoramoan, if not in Lordaeron?

Maybe you should read the rest of my post, sweetheart. We in no way “stomped” you after Darkshore. We lost on every front.

You decide to claim your old identity as Illoramoan de Lordaeron you will be Illoramoan the Forsaken if you embrace the dark Lady your new identity as one of the Forsaken,Sylvanas has made them give up their past. What do you embrace your past? your life? or the dark lady and death?

What is your home?,your people?

I am a Knight of Ebon Blade, the human I was in life is dead.

hm?

we don’t actually know what’s empowering tyrande, we know what some assume it is but
“Tyrande: Know this. My hunger for vengeance will not be sated so long as Sylvanas Windrunner remains free–and until I know why Elune abandoned her children.”
she may know full well it’s not elune helping the night elves

she is the high priestess after all…if anyone knew that elune is assisting would it not be her?

you can’t evacuate a holy site when the people in that site still believe god to be on their side, esp when the people involved are territorial to the degree that the night elves are

the worgen evacuated when darkshore had the appearance that it could fail, the elves did not

^^ it’s entirely speculation that the old gods are using her though, and is based mostly on her being empowered by something seemingly divine or extremely powerful…but also believing that elune has abandoned her people

the context for the bit you qouted matters though, even if the kaldorei had been warned months in advance and the siege had lasted weeks with openings for civilians, there’s no indication they’d leave until the fires started

Or that she is drawing power by force.

Elune prevented Malfurion from being killed

And he also tried to kill his children in peace.

it may just that she decided this war had to be fought and that the sacrifice of his children serve a greater purpose.

Yeah, I was there. It’s obvious you didn’t play through the scenario - at all - or you would know that the High Priestess of Elune used the ritual, often fatal, that summoned Elune’s dark aspect…we literally watched the Moon. Next you’re going to say that the God - capital G as in one of the few canonical Gods/Goddesses in Warcraft lore - is actually a servant of the Old Gods. Elune, the God attributed with creating the Naaru when the ordering of the Universe happened.

possibly, but her own assumption is that it is a rite of elune and power drawn from elune
albeit one that doesn’t require direct intervention

and we don’t actually know what the goddess is like…but we do know beings capable of such powerful “blessings” that reside on azeroth and are active…whereas elune has mostly sat idly by
and if abandoned there is little reason to believe she’d allow her power to be used by those she abandoned is there?

yup, because nothing bad has ever come from using rituals we know nothing of an assuming it’s from the good guys…
Elune may or may not have anything to actually do with the moon anyway, again it’s a god we know damn near nothing of and only speculation based upon elven beliefs

Holy…just…wow.

literally everything we know of elune comes from the kaldorei

This will sound evil on my part but if to save the world I have to let something very bad happen I will have to let it happen.

Elune perhaps needed the Alliance charged against the horde and removed Sylvanas from power.

I needed Fang to challenge her and unmask.

She can’t just summon lightning and blow Sylvanas but she can do it through an avatar.

A kind god has to watch for a future even if it means losing his beloved children.
