Unfortunately ours died in Wrath, but we DO have these Orcs from another timeline who moved into Orgrimmar. Maybe it’s time to pick up that old plot point about how Dranosh would’ve been an excellent leader for the Orcs. I imagine Horde players would be thrilled to have an Orc with the name, ‘Saurfang,’ they could be proud of again too.
Or maybe that name has been too tainted by BFA. Either way, just, ‘Dranosh,’ works at that point. Between Thrall, Garrosh, and now Varok Saurfang, Blizzard should have ENOUGH of an idea of how NOT to ruin an Orc Leader by now, right?
Horde has Geya’rah, who is basically Dranosh. She’s an uncorrupted Orc whose a child of a famous Orc. They both like to hit things with axes, mostly Draenei.
Blizzard just needs to get around to developing her character.
Geya’rah can literally go die in a hole, we need Thura to show up ASAP. People are getting sick of Varok and it’s time for his young niece to fill those big shoes. And not as some thickheaded stooge who thinks loyalty is everything either, but a stalwart protector of the Horde the way Varok once was.
What we need is for people like you to get over themselves. The Horde was trying to become Alliance #2 with the presence of Blood Elves and Undead Humans and having an Undead High Elf Warchief just further adds to how much the Horde wants to aesthetically be like the Alliance, only edgier.
I hope that both get thrown under a iron start. I mean Gera’yan was such a fail. She was literally made to a leader without any kind of story, and no, don’t tell me that I should accept this poor written Mag’har recruit scenario as her story, because the scene itself feels like a crossbreed between WoD and BfA.
I realize that you’re upset that we’re rebelling against your poor decisions, but there’s no need to get testy!
On-topic: Yeah Dranosh would have been a great choice had he lived through Wrath, but alas, it wasn’t meant to be. Personally I’d rather they avoid utilizing anything at all from WoD, but maybe I’m just biased against most AU type stories.
Oh no my dear, I’m not upset with any poor decisions. Supporting Sylvanas till she becomes a lootbag.
And if she goes on a 500 more genocides in a fantasy game, I’d lead all these fantasy genocides myself if I could.
I’m not playing huggy-huggy in a war game. I’m here to murder Alliance, burn them, drain their life force out of them, crush their heads under my boots (whatever you like), and I’m stopping only at 2 points:
1- No more alliance to murder.
2- Sylvanas becomes a loot bag.
It’s a fantasy war game. I don’t want peace, I’m the most peaceful Canadian irl, I don’t want to play my Real life in a fantasy game.
Fair point, an AU Dranosh wouldn’t really be the same as the one we had, but it’s about as close as we get. Maybe have him visit his MU self’s grave and get some kind of lesson from his other self.
