For real though, the remaining Elves are part of the Kaldorei Resistance, those that opposed Queen Azshara, your people however, the Quel’dorei, are descendents of the Highborne that followed Dath’remar, so it’s a bit muddled for how long your forefathers aided Queen Azshara until they realized what her true plans were.
When my Void Elf infiltrates Silvermoon again, I’ll have him go with BBQ. Just keep your Demon Hunters in check, they still think they are Silvermoon Elves and not neutral entities.
Might want to see your local priest or healers those mints make the basic runs look and feel like easy mode. I recommend the hot spicy Tauren flavored. Oh my DH avoids silvermoon already tired of the guards chasing her,Same with my DK here.
cough the Highborne are night elves cough and were cultivated/grew in night elf society cough cough
Night elf society is the reason why Queen Azshara had any power in the first place, not only did all Night elves worship her (even the ones who eventually joined the resistance) they also carried out heinous deeds in her name without so much of a blink of an eye. (which included many awful things like mindless slaughter, and butchering.) It literally took her getting engaged to the burning legion before anyone did anything.
And the “highborne” line that the Blood elves come from? (Dath’remar Sunstrider) also joined that resistance, and is the only reason why Tyrande survived the ordeal at all, because had he not helped her escape with his people she would have remained Azshara’s prisoner and would have starved to death in her prison cell.
Question. If Half of a country, let name it… Pizdorei. If half of the country called Pizdorei makes a massive bomb that destroys the world while the other half fights to prevent it, and this bad half just leaves and changes their name to Burguerdorei", are we going to say the Pizdorei blew up the world and blame the innocent remaining ones that fought to prevent it?
Doesn’t make sense, the fault is still on the Burguerdorei because changing names doesn’t erase the guilt.
I haven’t tried the mints. I overheard an Orc peon rolling a rock saying they were tasty.
So the guards even chase your Elves. They have no limits.
Except, in this case it wouldn’t be half the country it would be the entire country because all Night elves, Highborne and lowborn alike worshipped her, and would happily carry out anything she requested if it meant being elevated in her eyes. Even the most unsavory, and heinous requests were carried out in glee.
And the line of Highborne that the Blood elves descend from were actually part of that resistance, and assisted the Night elves in defending Azeroth - heck they even sacrificed a great number of themselves to ensure Tyrande’s escape.
The true hilarity in all this is that the Highborne that were directly involved in assisting Azshara were welcomed back into Night elf society with open arms by Tyrande. So the real culprits are sitting right next to you. :O)
Ardenweald is where god-like beings go to be reborn - they may not even be from Azeroth.
Does the Night Queen actually like anyone? I view the NPC’s in this zone as being somewhat cold so not sure how their treatment of certain gods means they are for one faction or another on Azeroth.
Adoring Azshara doesn’t make them guilty of anything. The Druids, Warriors, etc didn’t attract the Legion’s attention to Azeroth, it was the mages, which includes the Blood Elves.
The Night Elves pre cataclysm cannot be blamed for anything regarding that. The majority of them didn’t even likely use the magic to attract Sargeras, like the now High/Blood Elves did.
If anyone is to blame are the current Highborne, Naga, Satyr, High, Blood and Void Elves. But the current Hightborne are also part of the resistance you say they had no blame.
It’s part… some of the certain flavors come from that Darkmoon lady who use to sell the odd cuisine. Her name is Rona Greenteeth but sadly someone is taking her supplies so I am going to guess it’s made with the mints.
Yes, it does, they are directly involved in how their society is upheld and run - you worship and kiss the feet of a corrupt leader and carry out her even whim without question, you can’t then turn around and pretend you had no part in propagating it. Everyone adored Azshara regardless of how evil she was, she and the highborne are the result of Night elven society, and the reason why the burning legion arrived in Azeroth in the first place.
Spoiler alert, no Blood elf or high elf in existence right now was alive when the burning legion attacked, but the Highborne that the Night elves welcomed home? Those are the very same elves who fought side by side with the legion and Azshara against the Night elves. Night elf society is to blame for Lady Azshara.
Oh so you should be blamed if your president one day makes something bad? Should everyone be blamed for the actions of their dictators? What do you think attracted the Legion to Azeroth? Azshara’s love or using magic indiscriminately?
You’re highborne descendant, those that were kicked out for using magic. You can’t blame a Druid only because your kicked descendant changed his name after causing a terrible act. The Druid didn’t do it. The Highborne can change their name 1000 times, but it will never change the fact that Malfurion or Tyrande or the other non mages had nothing to do with it. You’re blaming the part that did nothing ignoring that it was the branch you mutated from that did it. Those that called themselves High Elves, starting for the Blood Elf’s last king.
Then what does the Horde eat that can’t kill you? Aside from arcwine.
I find the best food comes from either Shattrath City or Dalran or if you into Oriental the Temples. Avoid all the capital cities’ food dives.
Now if you want something spacey with a hint of wild mana go to the outlands.
For good simple and great coffee Dalaran the purple palace. If you want a cup or 2 on the go talk to Mel she has great coffee for long flights.
I think everyone knows panda cooking is good and filling the only drawback is an hour later you are hungry again. Stock up while there as there are no delivery services which is sad.
I haven’t done the Ardenweald covenant campaign, but it seems weird to me that everyone is talking about the loa and troll nature spirits involved but nothing from the tauren.
The actual Horde nature race, the Horde equivalent of night elves, the only race that could originally be a Horde druid, doesn’t get any lore in the nature campaign?
Except presidents are elected, or impeached, and held to ethical standards which they must meet, not the headpiece of a monarchy. It’s not like the entire country worships, or agrees with everything their president says either.
Queen Azshara was uncontested, and lovingly worshipped despite the blaringly evil things she would have her subjects preform for her. She grew up in a society that encouraged her nasty appetites, and did nothing to curb or control corruption. That is no one’s fault besides the Night elves themselves.
No Night elves, no Azshara, no Azshara, no burning legion.
It’s not like these are the same elves who departed the Night elves, generations of Thalassian elves had lived and died between then, and now. Any Highborne descendant of modern High elves no longer exists, so saying they had a bigger hand in Azshara’s betrayal, when the Night elves still in existence were the ones who actually played their roles in propogating a society that generated a tyrant is hilarious.
Especially when the Night elves welcomed the VERY HIghborne who did have a role in assisting Azshara back into their homes.
