Oh that’s good to know at least. Where can I find this interview?
Its on YouTube.
There’s a reference link, with time stamp, in the below article section

They skip Faranell due to the likelihood he’ll accidentally bring the wrong research vile and melt the meeting table.
We would all worship Slannesh!!!
Personnaly i prefer her in her Naga form, which i find more godlike and more badass as well as sexy.
Now i totally agree, i think Azshara would be lot more in character being either boss of Xal’atath, working with her as ally or (and thats what i think would be best) being her rival and overpowering her eventually.
I am sure it would be so good to have Azshara says to Xal’atath the line “Only the strongest survive” before ending her!
As a side note, we already had all the queen manipulated by xal’atath trope with Ansurek, so it would be lame to have it again.
Thats good to know!
Wow, there are 24 Tauren tribes? where is this revealed, where is a list of their names? not being sarcastic, genuinely curious. I thought there were only like 3-4 in Mulgore, 1 in Feralas, 1 or 2 in 1000 Needles, 2-3 in Barrens (and Stonespire got wiped out by swarves).
Great Uwu. This time, being sarcastic, not genuine.
Go on actually. Tell me your list of 5 important Stormwind humans.
Anduin, Mathias Shaw, Bolvar (yeah he is still alive!!!) Admiral Roger, Halford Wyrmbane, Venessa Vancleef, but if you dont want either Bolvar or Venessa i have Hammond Clay
If you tell me these are not important, then you did not play enough bfa.
That would be Kiro.
How one does not know Kiro is beyond me
Thought we were in the Azshara post one sorry!
I honestly think if they make her use a humanoid form I think it will be using naga traits on her Night Elf model or use a unique model to blend the 2 just like the Visage does for Dracthyr. However I can totally see her showing up a few times as her grand normal self (IMO)
I agree on the working as an “Ally or rival” part with Xal’atath, she knows more than anyone the dangers of bargaining with Void Cosmic Horrors and how quickly they will turn on you, like hungry vermin.
Also I firmly believe that if anyone know what Xal really is, its her… and the only way I can see Xal being a rival or even a threat to Azshara at this point is if Xal was something so “ancient or primal” that she literally will go against her or pretend alliance if only to make sure she does not recover her power that would literally mean the end of all things… but more importantly the end of Azshara’s personal plans! lol
If blizz took that direction being an “ancient primal being” I hope they take inspiration of the irl Tiamat is a Mesopotamian goddess myth, the story is so similar how this goddess was betray and split to create the universe with her pieces and flesh… much like the old gods strip Xal of her power.
Xal being anything less would literally make at best her pet and at worst a disposable pawn. Since the game hinted Azshara attaining something that elevated her in the background while we were busy with main villains in those flavored text we found around the Naga…
EDIT: Oh S*** sorry for derailing this post of the Council, I though we be in the Azshara for some reason… lol I’ll:
The fact that the Horde has a council and the Alliance doesn’t shows how gonked up the writing in this game is.
Seriously though I don’t need detailed lore on how it works. I mean I’d read a book about how the bureaucracy of a fictional monster mash UN Security Council operates but not too many other people would so I can’t blame them for not publishing one.
I’d just like some basics like who TF is on the thing. Thrall, Baine and Kirro I know do. But does Lor’Themar go there or is that Rommath’s job? Same for the Zandalari. Is Talanaji sitting on that thing or is there a delegate that speaks for her?
What about the Forsaken? We saw Calia and Voss show up once. That’s about it. Is that the usual attendance? Or do they just have whoever turn up? I like to imagine it’s seen as a chore by everyone but Calia but she can’t be trusted so they all draw straws to see who’s going to have to attend.
Alliance should be the faction with a council, Horde should have a warchief. Blizzard has it backwards currently.
Though realistically if Alliance had a council it’d be Anduin, Turalyon, Jaina, Genn, and Shaw given how Blizzard writes Alliance.
Anduin and Mathias Shaw, sure. Bolvar is not “alive” he literally said he isnt meant for the world of the living but fine. Halford Wyrmbane and Venessa? At best Halford is a third tier character and Vanessa was literally a rebel until Shaw got her to help him with the Defias problems.
No, I think they are important(but with many of them having their own caveats) but then what I disagree with is this
Because this feels more like you don’t play the draenei. Because I can give you the 5 easily if you want that would be equivalent of the ones you mentioned.
Velen and Yrel
If Bolvar counts then we have Akama or Nobundo taking his spot.
Vindicator Boros-unlike Halford he has been part of the draenei starting experience and was part of both Paladin and Priest orderhall and the final assault on Argus
Arzaal would easily be her counterpart, a guy who ultimately was the enemy of all the draenei repenting and now leading his wayward brothers and sisters to a path of redemption and trying to benefit his people.
High Priestess Ishanah would easily be comparable to her and in many way better then her simply because she has been nothing but a net positive for the draenei and the Alliance.
Like thanks to the draenei heritage armor you can easily how the draenei have had their own list of memorable characters. Admittedly some more memorable then other but I would say that when they got the spotlight in WoD/Legion and BC they certainly made their own impressions just as much as any Stormwind human.
Alternative Universe dosent count, and she is not on the Alliance anymore, so here you get wrong.
The thing is, i gave 5 actual relevant character to compensate Bolvar and Venessa, because if you count it right, i gave 7 characters in case you dont allow Bolvar.
And no, these are brokens, not draenei.
He is a man’ari, not a draenei.
Omg someone mentioning her!!!
But if for real, the point of my post was : If you ask anybody to mention 5 humans, they will have no problems telling you 5 humans (lets get the stormwind restriction out of the way and you will see) if you ask anybody to tell you 5 humans characters it goes BOOM in their head, they will tell you maybe 20 of them.
Then if you ask to give 5 draenei they will have lot more issues to give you that.
I play the draenei and i know the characters you mentioned, no need to get prideful over it, the difference between you and me, is thaat i am well aware that an average player wont know these characters, while the humans ones are lot more well known by the average players.
Do note i did not say mentioning 5 draenei was impossible, i said its harder. But, i have in mind, not for me or you, but to the average player.
Come back to the discord!
We haven’t had a warchief in going on two expansions already. How’s that working out for him?
We’re closer to a pandaren heritage quest than we were in BFA so I would call it a wash (sorry I just don’t think the warchief is an interesting thing to cling to - Vol’jin being the leader wasn’t cool because he was Dah Warcheef, it was cool because Vol’jin had potential as a character), which was immediately squandered anyway, so really why even give a damn about the poisoned seat)
God I’m terrified they’re going to make the pandaren share a heritage questline instead of make one for each faction.
You do realize that the two leaders are a couple, yes?
They are absolutely not satisfying the like 5 pandaren mains who are inexplicably hardcore faction nationalists
