When it comes to Warmode, now I know what Ion really meant when he said, “The horde are here waiting for you”,
Get good at PvP and it won’t be a problem. Or just turn it off.
This has never been my experience in War Mode. Simple herb runs in Kul Tiras easily attract the ire of 2-4 man Alliance parties. And Tortollan World Quests? Forget it; massive swaths of alliance love to camp those all day.
Then of course there was the whole “Anduin’s Knights” fiasco in Dazar’alor…
Yeah, the Alliance is far from toothless in War Mode.
For me, I usually get jumped by alliance roaming around in packs and having three-against-one battles as the norm. Especially in the azerite world quests, it’s a breeding ground for alliance.
Not that I’m complaining too much, War Mode is no holds barred after all.
yes at the time when Anduin’s Knights were roaming the map, there were many many more horde raids doing the same. there were times where i would use the mini world bosses as a way to phase shards and find a horde raid on every shard i tried. your tears about a few alliance are pathetic when as a whole alliance are vastly outnumbered in warmode.
warmode for alliance is either luck being in an even shard, or unlucky being in a horde filled shard. but we never get a shard with more alliance than horde
I’m waiting for you. I will literally camp out with a raid of rogues and be the bait. I’ll solo you down over and over until you bring friends. Then the hidden terror comes when I Ice Block, the queue to my army of stealth friendlies to assassinate all of the Alliance dogs in the vicinity. We show no mercy, we take no prisoners, we fight for the glory of battle.
Except you are only outnumbered because none of your fellow Alliance turn WM on.
Color me unlucky, then.
Anyway, I tend to view Warmode threads with a huge amount of skepticism. Evaluations about faction balance within them tend to largely be anecdotal, and I’d hate to imagine these anecdotes would dissuade Alliance players from partaking in the mode at all, thus making a perceived problem into an actual one.
There is nothing about war mode that inherently benefits the Horde. If there aren’t enough Alliance, that’s their fault, and no-one else’s.
it is funny you say this. i see many horde say that it is so hard to find alliance to kill for their achievement in warmode, but all they have to do is xfer alliance and there will be plenty of targets for you to kill, if only they dont kill you first. its a problem both factions live with where a lack of alliance makes wpvp empty for both horde and alliance.
instead of pointing fingers, we need a solution but blizzard refuses to listen when we ask for shards to have either even population or or be vacant of one population.
The only solution would be for Alliance to stop being babies and turn WM on.
theon, you are like the people inside blizzard who are killing the company, people are un subbing because you think your ideas are good when everybody else thinks they are bad. so bad that we all just turned WM off
You’re talking about the consequences of a problem, but have yet to prove that there is, in fact, a problem. Any numbers to quote about overall shard populations? Anything to indicate this is an issue with most shards rather than a bad bunch?
Otherwise, it’s still anecdotal. My warmode experience does not match up with yours.
Yea, my idea of having more alliance players turn on warmode to even out the so-called imbalance is sooooooooo horrible.
your idea would work if it happened i agree, but just asking people to do something and having them do it wont happen lol. you saying that is like me saying if people just stopped being racist there would be no more racism.
its a great ideal, but words alone wont fix the issue now that its here.
You said my ideas make people unsubscribe and now you say they would work. OK THEN.
I keep seeing all this about Horde having the advantage in warmode… and I’m sitting here doing WQs without WM on because I simply don’t care.
Yeah I did a super-double take at that.
And then there was the weird comparison to… racism…?
Yeah…
I’ve never seen so many adults that just need to grow up before wow. And I thought the SP episode was bad then.
your confusing my words, i said that if your ideas happened then yeah it would be fine, but the REALITY is that what you are saying just wont happen by asking, and when you say ideals with no reward to the people required to make it happen then it will make people unhappy.
there are some things required to fix a problem, and all you gave was what the problem was and what the solution was.
(problem) + (way to fix) = solution
the error of your argument was how we get there. because alliance wont go to warmode without a reason
It doesn’t happen because the majority of the Alliance doesnt like to PvP. Blizz can’t really fix that.
Typing this from my phone sucks.
