16 years of lacking people to play the designated roles of tanks or healers. Tanks having it hard to be viable for PVP. Healers acting as pseudo-DPS in dungeons already. Visions being a DPS fest.
The party structure has been hard locked to 3 DPS, a healer and a tank for far too long. Not even room for a support role. Making it harder for people to get into content.
This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have classes with tank and healer toolkits, but those roles should be altered to fit a model that does not require them. Making groups more diverse. And create more interesting mechanics other than big boss guy hit hard, beefy tanks only need apply.
I did. It was great. Made two legendaries even. I just didn’t like how it was an inventory simulator of junk filling your bags in that game though. They also don’t have Vulpera.
They had “scenarios” in MOP that were something I really wish they had built upon. I agree. The that there needs to be something for DPS only groups to advance in!
I actually liked Guild Wars 2 quite a lot. Smaller games are smaller. Certainly the ability to work with what you had on your team and think more dynamically about fights was a big plus to me.
You are so wrong. Fights in Guild Wars 2 were doable all dps, but fights were easier with fighters or healers, and you could fall asleep at your keyboard if you had both. Kinda like wow sometimes.
