The higher ilevel I get the weaker I become

I was easily #1 in DPS at lower ilevel, now that I’m at 587 I’m dead last behind the tank, what’s up with that? I have 1 piece with mastery on it, everything else Haste, crit

Everyone else will have like 560-570 gear on too.

Scaling, which I’m sure you knew.

But yeah, it’s unfun. The meters matter, it’s how you feel your impact

I’ve noticed if we ignored meters, it would still suck because I’m focusing on an NPC that casts some nasty stuff and he doesn’t die til the level 10 warrior accidentally does a whirlwind.

If they’re 587 i doubt they’re doing normals and there is no scaling in heroic

Yeah idk his exact situation but I know I’ve been through something similar

I’m talking level 80s in heroics, when I was 560-570 I was blowing everyone away most of the time, now that I’m 587 I’m last to ilevel 560-570s, weird.

I noticed, at least with some sims(For ele). That there is like a minimum mastery you want. Haste/Crit is the best stats by far… but if you have like zero mastery, it starts to be more important.

Where that soft cap is, I have absolutely no idea, it probably fluctuates based on your haste/crit.

You have 15% no matter what somehow, I have 20% with the one piece that has mastery on it. I’m thinking stuff just dies too quick, it might be better in mythics.

Yeah you do get a baseline.

I would say this is probably a skill issue.

Maybe, seems that a full group of melee can do a lot of damage, I was in Raid finder and was #1, although it was a lag fest. I got my first Set piece and it has Mastery on it, I guess we’re just stuck with it.
