The High Elf Love Thread đŸ„°

Ah bad writing again.

I mean that’s not really fair though. They’re on an entire different continent.

France was traditionally allied with Russia and Britain rather than say, America because you need local allies if you have a force disparity between you and an unfriendly neighbouring nation.

They’d have been much better served by staying neutral and seeking a friendly relationship with the Horde.

We should have had another War patch with a Warfront and content to really drive home that the factions where nearing their limits.

This would give a real sense of desperateness and fatigue.

Then as both factions where making their final stand in the last patch Azhara swoops in and wipes the floor with her full power.

Tide Stone/Neptune’s Trident destroying entire zones. Naga forces advancing on every front. A warfront against the Naga. (A perfect excuse to make more updated zones.)

Then in one last desperate act both factions plunge their troops to Nazjatar and do one desperate push to finish her off. Only to have a be a trick to release N’zoth.

But the alf arced it instead.

Then Black Empire is its own Xpac and we go to the Dragon Isles to find the key to destroying the Old Gods and we get an actual story out of it.

There’s always sewers and back allies.

Saying no would not be a wise thing to say.

Did you just respond to a post back in the log before the thread hit 100 posts? Lol

Biased Alliance main has forgotten what occurred.
Twilight hammer framed the Horde. The night elves reacted by telling them “NO MORE WOOD” and the Horde responded accordingly.

Funny how the Horde gets blamed for many things they weren’t responsible for, and then when they respond accordingly they’re in the wrong too. Funny how night elves get the brunt of the Horde’s fury. Maybe they should leave the Alliance that sucks at helping them.

Not everyone is on at the same time, if they left the post up anyone can reply at any time :woman_shrugging: :man_shrugging:

This sounds incredibly spiteful from someone who is only here to spread peace and love.

Just being helpful spreading information forward, the guy replying is obviously taking the time to read through the thread which people have been asked to do before to :blue_heart:

What
information were you spreading Lann?

Don’t get me wrong here I was just surprised. Most folk jump to the current part of the discussion is all.

How the forum works in regards to posting? Anyone can reply to anything at anytime, and the guy is obviously starting from the beginning of the thread :man_shrugging: to each their own is all :blue_heart:

He’s bitter about I think
Murg? Replying to him like 12 hours after he made a post because that’s when he got on and that’s where he was upto in the thread.

Someone told him different people were on at different times.

Apparently that means he’s going to defend someone for replying to a post from four months ago.

Wasn’t it self evident from his comment?

Just seems like you’re trying to make spiteful commentary. After all, you did complain about someone quoting you half a day later.

Such an odd way of trying to get back at someone.

Then who’s to say the Horde would later try to change the terms from their more advantageous position? So what do you do, hope the Horde doesn’t change their minds, or try to force a detente, creating more of a Cold War thing?

Cause that’s the thing, as a Night Elf, you couldn’t trust if the Horde would try to expand further or change terms and force a conflict. And let’s remember the NE’s weren’t know for being open handed so they themselves would have been prickly.

For as much as joining the alliance hasn’t really worked for the NE’s, I relly can’t say the alternative would have been much better, specially if Garrosh ended as warchief anyway.

Important to note that the Night Elves now have a very real reason to not trust the Horde on all this too. If we’re being fair.

But the problem is that they really just wanted to wrap up N’zoth, and that’s exactly the narrative problem: they already had a plotted end and rushed to get there. But they also wanted to do a faction war and have Aszhara there too.

It’s just too much, too disconnected to work.

One of those aspects had to go; or at least, make clear that the Faction War was nothing but a diversion created by N’zoth and only follow it through that focus, instead of making it arguably the main storyline.

Well of course, but we are speaking in terms of Pre-WoW.

And as such, we can’t really forget that many NE’s would still feel resentment towards the orcs for killing Cenarius and many of their own. Like even if they worked together, that doesn’t really create a blossoming partnership.

OH I misunderstood so sorry. That is what happens when you bounce around multiple characters on the forums. >.<

Nothing, but the Horde only cares about the wood supply and with one notable exception, all their conflict has been about that.

The two times the Horde have gone and absolutely bollocked the night elves were entirely because of their ties to the Alliance.

Taking the adversarial stance of “we’ll keep them at bay by allying with their enemies hon hon hon” has not worked out for them.
