Aye, That is one reason I wanted to repost it here and help keep it alive. Iâm becoming quite partial to Half Elves. Some of the pictures Hyper provided made me really like the idea.

Iâll call Half Elves a compromise for those who simply want full on High Elves, but Iâll be honest in saying that I would actually prefer Half Elves at this point

I was thinking about whether I should clarify that half elves are a compromise. Itâs more the using of compromise in describing how alliance gets the high elves

Motives always can be questioned. If you dont want High Elves make a compromise.
I can see being brief just for the practical reason of not wanting to write an epic for a post that has a really good chance of getting quickly locked/404ed

I seen both of them, Wasnt interested in Half Elves so didnât comment in them.
High Elves with Half Elf options.
Since they only seem to exist as a extension of High Elf groups and their depiction is basically a High Elf with shorter ears/eyebrows.
Also, something to wonder. Is âHalf Elfâ a straight up name for 50% Human 50% Elf or is it a laymanâs term for all part elf part humans?
Like, no one is called a quarter elf or an eighth elf⊠Or is an 8th elf just a human with the DBZ hair at that point?

Half Elf would be with a significant human and elf blood in the person as it were.
Or at least I think that is how it would work as weâve been mostly discussing it.

Half Elves to my knowledge are a 50/50 of human and High/Blood Elf

Thereâs also the possibility itâs like mules and you only ever get one generation.
Blizzard specifically doesnât get into halfbreeds much so we donât get many answers on this.

Youâve got a pro-Helf member of the conversation right above you advocating for half elves as a viable compromise, Valarian. Just because pro-helfers are not starting the threads doesnât mean the idea is without support on your side of the street.

Afaik theyâre supposed to be 50/50, but in the few pictures or images of them that Iâve seen, they look more like 70 human / 30 elf
While Blizzard doesnât go into this most other fantasy universes do. D&D for instance does indicate that the Half Elves are capable of propagation of their own breed as do I believe most of the others.
Who were the last two Half Elf post created by? I was curious why this big push for Half Elves was starting up in the Legacy of Quelâdorei Discord, actually make sense now.
Why do you think that matters?
