The High Elf Love Thread đŸ„°

Right, you just don’t reveal it till you’re called out on it, since your pretentious tone is predictable.

Still waiting on your “points” against the video, Stella can also feel free to elaborate. :tipping_hand_man:

arator is a half elf, and he looks just like any other blood elf or high elf. the devs just havent chosen to make an unique model for him. i think culturally, alliance high elves are different enough from horde high elves, that they could have a different model and the devs could do that, but they just havent chosen to make unique models for them. doesnt mean they couldnt, they just havent had reason to at this point.

This argument would work, if I hadn’t told people who my alts were across several forums and repeated times in the past. Not sure why you are trying to re-write history Kizzan.

Mmm, I don’t think so.
You simply are not something to discuss things with Kizzan.

What does that have to do with nameless speechless portal decoration NPCs?

Thought so.

“Daddy Ion already kinda said so”

Sorry the devs don’t support your view. Maybe come to terms with it?

they could look different than blood elves, but the devs havent saw fit to do so, and that likely is because they dont want to deal with the fall out. they’ve popularized the horde and blood elves so much that now they have to consider their race and faction’s desires before the alliance faction or alliance races, as they represent the largest amount of players. now tarrok, it wont matter what alliance players ask for, if the majority of horde players dont want it in game, alliance wont get it.

Yes Ion’s off the cuff answer sure doesn’t, weird how multiple expansions do though.

What is the truth Broflake?

“Please waste 20 minutes watching unknown Youtuber explaining why the people who create the universe the game is set in are in fact wrong about the story they have written and take it seriously enough to make counter arguments that treat it as more than a joke or you have nothing!!!”

I mean
At this point High Elves might be a great idea after how big of a flunk BFA was. Let’s just make cosmetics and ridiculous races to make up for our poor game mechanic and story telling.

Hyper, I’m not being hyperbolic and equating all high elves with portal keepers. That conversation was specifically regarding the elves keeping portals open. And how I just don’t think they really bring anything to the discussion.

I like how focused you are on Ion, but ignore everything else that explains why you can’t have blood elves on the Alliance.

Tarrok dont discredit that dood at least he took the time to come up with answers instead of blindly following a A Dev that made no sense.Let people watch it and make their own decisions.

Sorry you say Devs yet we know it’s just Ion’s one interview.

So go ahead and show that anti-high elf movement from these “Devs”.

While you’re at it let’s see your “everything else”, that isn’t your feelings and personal views on “faction identity”.

That’s like their thing though, ignoring observations on the game we all play and spamming futurama videos.

You ignoring Metzen’s interview? K

I have Kizzan, but you’re so unhappy I disagree with you, that you’re trying to re-write history.
Btw, you still not playing BFA?

Why shouldn’t I?

To me it’s just ridiculous how many people keep trying to insist that the creators are not in fact the ultimate experts on how the game universe works (not withstand occasional flubs forgetting specific individual bits of trivia)

Ooooo a Metzen interview, what’s it called, I’ll look into it, finally some decent food from the anti side.

Kinda like you re-write High elves from the Alliance story and pretend it’s always just been Blood elves?

Mmm sorry, when did pro-elite gamer status have any point to prove other than your pretentiousness, Broflake?

That whole interview was misinformation Ion did when it came to High Elves, Maybe like dood said maybe Ion wasn’t the One to ask About High Elf Lore Questions when it came to Alliance. But Ion did nothing more then show he didn’t have a clue when it came to his answers in that video. Intentionally or not.

I want to take you seriously but I cannot.

Sweet,quote where I’ve done such.

It demonstrates that someone who claims to know so much about the game, doesn’t know much about the game.
Like how people say void elves don’t do anything, but are rather prominent in BFA and in 8.3

Anyway, I know you’re going to say something silly. So I’ll let you carry on and ignore you.

i think one reason they dont want them playable is because they wanted to break the goody two shoe elf mold, which is metzen’s rationale for making blood elves edgy, vengeful and originally soul-less elves, who he said made them prime candidates for the horde. i didnt understand why he thought blood elves were soul-less at the time, but apparently that was remedied by the end of tbc. so now they are goody two shoe elves on the horde. scratch the edgy soul-less elf rationale.

next up, it was because horde needed a pretty race or the chinese wouldnt sign on for the wow train. 2 pretty races and 2 furries later, they still wont let us have their counterparts because they are genetically related (and they dont want another goody two shoe elf race
i hope they change their mind on that just enough to let alliance have half elves)
