pretty solid argument. i think it probably went like this:
garithos assures the kirin tor that kaelâthas is a traitor because he got caught with the naga. thats usually how this kinda thing goes in war. dude makes up a falsehood and uses it as a premise to get his allies to accept his actions.
Thatâs an awful example, not just because do we have to compare RL atrocities to a game, but also because it just doesnât fit.
If the Kirin Tor gave Garithos authority over Dalaranâs territories and defenses, we can all agree itâs highly likely they didnât thought he would try to have all his elven forces executed.
Like thereâs a huge difference.
or most likely, for whatever reason Garithis had authority over Dalaran, I really doubt he asked the Kirin Tor permission to execute Kaelâthas, you know, a member of the Kirin Tor himself.
Itâs just HIGHLY unlikely that he had the Kirin Torâs thumbs up, without a trial, to execute on of their own.
So whatâs more likely, that the Kirin Tor knew this and just say lol kill him, or that Garithos acted on his own?
i know. i mean if they started asking questions. the naga were the enemies of the alliance and kaelâthas got caught by garithos partnering with the naga. the reason the naga were involved is beyond all the participants, as it was illidan that said, go forth and save the blood elves! and the kirin tor wouldnt have known any of that.
Still the dude had rocks for brains. I mean his forces were like nothing so he plots the murder of people who show up to help him, when he may not have needed Sylvanasâ help if he hadnât squandered the forces he had.
