this is pure fanfiction. there are 6 alliance high elves. 2 in SW 4 in BFA content. the SC are down to a few hunters and a couple of mages. you could dissolve them and take the few elves living in that hut and reunify them with the blood elves and their numbers wouldnt make a difference
there also isnt âa ton of different lodgesâ there were 2 groups of hut elves now we have just 1. there are no other organizations or groups outside of a neutral population of high elf citizens in dalaran. its almost like when development says âtheres a coupleâ they mean it
the alliance has a few individuals. thats it. âhighâ elves are a non playable narrative, confirmed by multiple in game sources and dev commentary to have little in terms of population, who live in a neutral city, and arent an alliance race of any true standing because they are already a playable horde race
giving more development to a minor splinter faction of the blood elves, who almost certainly will never be playable, implies that a few alliance high elves pull as much weight/influence on the story as the blood elves, that they have an equal number of representation. which is nothing but a late night fanfiction
also i thought it was obvious why vereesa chooses to remain and will never leave the neutrality of dalaran, to honor the memory of rhonin who strongly believed in dalaranâs/kirin torâs neutrality and ofc her half elf children
Thats kind of obtuse, there is far more than just those in lore and in progressive content. And if needs beâŠBlizzard just randomly adds more as nameless NPCs.
By golly, its like Blizzard has never done that before. Ever. Ever ever.
Looks at night elves managing to make an army after literally losing a large portion of their population.
Theres that whole Outland group that hasnt been touched since Wrath. Where are they? Wheres Auric? What happened to them?
I mean Blizzard could write it, but they havent for their own reasons.
WhichâŠif you think about it, kind of is quite dumb when void elves are considered an alliance race; and they were literally Horde blood elves until they were exiled at some unknown date during WoWâs lifetime.
That doesnt mean anything if they were hard set on Pandaren being the Alliance race. If the blood elves were originally Alliance in pre-pre-pre alphaâŠwhy was Pandarens literally the only things mentioned by Metzen? Why were they still on the Alliance addition when Blood Elves were on Horde?
If blood elves were being considered Alliance, then it would have to be SUPER early into development; which makes no sense on why they would add the background materials like the ambassador or the night elves that early when they werent the main focus.
Yes I can, and I do. As to right or wrong, since youâve repeatedly refused - when challenged on a claim youâve made - to provide actual citations that support your assertions, Iâll just hold to my opinion if thatâs alright with youâŠand even if it isnât.
but that is under the assumption that I am trying to make you believe what I say. As I said I know it is true and that is all I care about. Whether you believe it or not is not my concern.
Just because there are some parts of the story that donât seem to make sense to some people doesnât mean Blood Elves going Horde arenât well written and a satisfying story. I believe the majority of players are good with the way they were written. Theyâre obviously a very popular race to play, the story canât be as absurd as helfers try to claim.
The worst offenders are the salty helfers who have just never gotten over not getting them for the Alliance.
I dont think that matters, tbh. He was the last remnants of the Alliance of Lordaeron, the Alliance that the high elves were apart of. And elves being finicky and whinyâŠthey take every slight harder than they should.
Iâve enjoyed the story arc their race has gone through even as not everything is perfect much like any faction. Itâs been exciting to see them at their lowest and slowly rebuild and move forward and I really canât wait to see what the next few major patches/events have in store in the current storyline (even as itâs kind of a mess here and there.)
I enjoy it too, itâs fascinating, I just wish we could have had more back ground to the races that werenât set in stone to a faction and why they joined when they did. Namely Night elves and Blood elves, how we got from point A to point B is wellâŠmurky.
Not saying I am at all dissatisfied with the factions they belong too, just that people have pointed out credible reasons that the pendulum could have swung the other way.
Iâm not sure what youâve done or do for a living, but if youâve ever gone through some sort of training on how to handle customers, one of the first rules itâs to find ways, manipulate words, to âsoften the blowâ.
No matter how resonable or unreasonable the customer is being, no matter how adjusted and mature they sound or if they sound immature and are foaming at the mouth, ânoâ itâs never the answer one gives to the customer. âIâm sorry but currently that is not possibleâ, âIâll ensure to pass on the feedback so they can make changes to satify your requestâ, âIâm truly sorry but thatâs not currently availableâ.
For the life of me, I canât remember one opportunity (besides the Vanilla thing at least until they seemed to realize legal matters and lots of money were involved) where they said a flat âNoâ. Even when Ion was talking about not wishing to âblur the factions linesâ it sounded as if he was an employee at a call center failing the âsoften the blowâ technique but not entirely dropping it.
So while I agree that a âNoâ would simply put this entire thing to rest, is not like they have not estated that it wonât happen, just in a very âbusiness-likeâ way.
