Eh, I thought it was over at BC, so this all seems minor in context
This topic has never felt like a fight or a contest to me. Still believe the helfers would continue with their asking despite anything that proves their actions are futile though.
Well someone else decided that they belong to the Hordeā¦
the Alliance is nothing ā¦

That means nothing
No one can speak for the majority of alliance players. Please do not pretend that you do
The issue is that the Alliance exists in a world full of monsters. Which makes sense in the RTS, the gallant heroes of the land striving against an untamed and dangerous world is entirely workable (and it also shows Warcraftās clear Warhammer inspirations).
The problem is that there are a lot more monsters than heroes in the world of Azeroth, and the Allianceās mission is to defeat and destroy those monsters. This means there really arenāt any places left for the Alliance (and the devs) to pull new blood from in the form of new playable races that arenāt reskins of Humans (other factional humans, like True Gilneans or Dalarans or such), Dwarves (Wildhammer) or Gnomes.
The Horde doesnāt have this issue due to it being the āmonsterā faction, so they can freely pull from a wide variety of sources and not sour their factionās image (a barbaric hodgepodge group of survivalists and outcasts). So of course itās easier to develop for Horde and be a bit more excited about working on it because the concept itself is open to a wider range of stories.
Unfortunately for the Alliance, their storyline has been written into a corner with no way out other than some very ugly retcons.
