My epeen is small and fragile (and kinda wrinkly now that I look at it closely, eww!) and can barely stand up as it is.
However, my epeen would not be hurt if they brought back the content with different rewards or lesser rewards or whatever because removing content from the game creates an incoherent mess and therefore a lesser experience.
you had literally from February till October to get it. My father-in-law, the biggest giga-casual you can think of with like 4 hours a week to play managed to get it.
I think you’re entitled and lazy and need to work on prioritizing 
This isn’t a “Have and have nots” problem, if time is that big of a barrier for you to fully enjoy this game and seeing other people with things you can’t achieve bothers you then the answer is simple.

Idk about the rest of you but I don’t want things handed to me, “AAA” gaming is full of that enough as it is, and everything else gives you everything with an RNG financial pricetag.
Either examine your priorities or find a type of game that suits your schedule better, because MMOs straight up aren’t for people with busy lives.
If you can do the content but choose not to, you don’t really have the right to complain about not getting the reward for the content you purposefully didn’t do.
Did you stop to think even for a fraction of a second that those who did the content and earned it were also busy doing other stuff in the game?

No. Blizz rewards those who play the game. Here you are expecting to be handed things that others had to earn. Why not demand all the mounts that others have worked hard for years to aquire, have them sent to your mailbox.
If you can’t be bothered to do the work you do not deserve the rewards. This is how the game works; it is modeled on how life works.
