The Grimtotem is a Tauren-only guild aimed to portray The Grimtotem Tribe within mostly Kalimdor. The Grimtotem hold the belief that Tauren are the supreme race within Azeroth, aimed towards pleasing The Earthmother, after endless abuse of the Earth caused by the ruthless interlopers that continue to pervert, corrupt, deface, exploit, and destroy the land of Azeroth, resulting in Cataclysmic events of destruction throughout the continents of the world. They oppose Thunderbluff’s concept of peace and diplomacy, for being diplomatic with the inferior races has resulted in the sheer destruction of the land, further upsetting The Earthmother even more. Hence, in the Grimtotem’s eyes… these inferior races, who have done nothing but curse these lands, must be purged and eradicated to restore the land to it’s original state.
This must be done through sheer violence, not diplomacy. The Grimtotem have shown a mentality similar to the Orcs, except that Honor does not exist amongst their paths. They hold zero honor, and are willing to utilize any means necessary to defeat their enemies in combat. Initiates are expected to bring the head of a Goblin, as tribute, to show their worth, combined with dozens of Trials and Tribulations before becoming a member. Respect is earned through violence, espionage, and and sheer brutality. Paranoia grows strong, for many spies and traitors exist amongst the midst, which is why joining The Grimtotem Tribe is both challenging and risky, for trust is hard to earn within these ranks. The Grimtotem, despite not having many allies, have a few tricks up their sleeves, of course… many do not know whether their intentions with these allies are truthfully mutual, but many letters have confirmed that they have a FEW factions collaborating with them for their own gain…
It is time to return Azeroth to it’s former glory. It is time to please The Earthmother. Join THE GRIMTOTEM!
( We are aiming to be a Kalimdor-centric guild, with the possibilities of engaging in expeditions, here and there, to other lands as the R.P. progresses. Despite being a Tauren-only guild, there are room for potential allies as long as they remain aligned with the lore and/or the storyline and objectives of The Grimtotem Tribe. We also intend to do some PVP and raiding, on the side, but aim to prioritize on roleplay, more than any thing. We’re aiming for some longevity and immersion. Deep character development and stories. Events will be included, but it would be great if we could develop a storyline in-between, with both Passive RP and Active RP.
