I have a strange challenge:
Has anyone tried to fight these buggers at lvl 60 for luls and revenge? Trying to find a tether that works so I can at least hit them.
I am a lvl 60 DK with Item lvl 197 (193 with a lvl 87) Heart of Azeroth: required since the guys hit for a flat 16k-24k.

They aren’t immune to damage as far as I can see: but they got a TON of HP, about 10000k. You need a group for em’ probably.
The problem is that their tether breaks before you can get them on the ground.
I was just thinking this recently. But yea, they have 10mill hp lol.
When they add flying back to Shadowlands they should have similar NPCs in every zone. NPCs should have turrets and grapple guns. And there should be random wind currents so you can’t just afk.
With the convenience of flight should come some downsides
I doubt it. I’m sure they’re harder now than they were before the pre-patch. You know, like all other BfA content 
I disagree: The Worms were HELL to be around. Hence why I am asking if anyone has found a way to bypass the tether.
And I doubt that comment, Glan. I can solo crap with EASE if it doesn’t have an enrage timer (looking at you, Taloc in Uldir…)
Pretty sure there is a worm that spawns north west of the zone that flies parallel to that raised surface. Easy to lure one for a fight there.

Seriously, though, I could easily kill the harder rares in Arathi (you know, that were a part of the initial release of BfA) prior to the pre-patch. Post pre-patch, I couldn’t anymore. I can kill them now, but they have far more health that they did before and it takes longer than it ever did before.
Mm. Even then - Lvl 60s can kill most rares with ease: I found that we sacraficed DPS for outright health, especially if you use the Heart of Azeroth as a statstick for health and essences.
What about the platform with the assault boss in Ulduum? Doesn’t one of the worms pat really close there?
Mm, true. Might have to try that locale: if one would spawn near that guy.
