Boring.
Lol, I figured it was a situation like that.
Boring.
Lol, I figured it was a situation like that.
I thought this was the megathread for a second and was confused
Well at the very least I can at least fly around in my home. How’s the grounded life treating you in Silvermoon?
I’ve been told that if I don’t like Taylor Swift that I’m an out of touch boomer.
I don’t know how that relates to this, but I will apply that argument here.
If you don’t like Blood Elves you are an out of touch boomer.
Great! During Easter I get more eggs because people don’t want to go there without flying.
Ok, but I’m too young to be a boomer!
I’m not even 40 but that didn’t protect me.
No mercy!
Well, I am surprised. You kinda write like a boomer…
Oh man gave yourself away there.
Boomers “write.”
only boomers out boomers for being boomers even if that aint boomers, boomer.
As a Void Elf, all I can say is …
So many wannabes now, and they whinge at any Belf content now suggesting they’re stealing from them!? It’s insane. You’re right, Blizzard shouldn’t had catered to them – It will NEVER be enough.
If they straight up severed the race from them, giving them flat out named ‘High Elves’ – They would then argue that they should be given Quel’Thalas & Silvermoon. And if they got that, I’m sure they would go on for something else — or suggest “Now that the elf community is more Alliance than Horde, they should really just be removed from the Horde.”
Trying to argue why giving Void Elves non-void skintones & features was bad is honestly like talking to a toddler why they can’t open the other kid’s presents.
Me: “Imagine if they gave Forsaken / Undead visual options to look like Nathanos – Human model, undead features. Red eyes, white skin – Similar to San’layn features to the elves; but applied on the human models for undead.”
Helfer Wannabe: “Yeah, that’d be fine; I don’t see how that’s a prob–”
Me: “THEN, imagine they take it a step further and argue with all their factions powers at their disposal - its weird they can’t look more ordinary … To the point Blizzard actually caters to them and gives them normal skin tones – So they can look 100% like human, save except a few odd features actual humans can customise here & there.”
Helfer Wannabe: “They can’t do that?! Even without many features, looking like a human with the same skin tones would often make them look indistinguishable! It’d be like stealing one race and giving it to the other faction with different racials and such!”
Me: … {Awkwardly slurps Moonbery Juice}
People never wanted void elves. They wanted high elves. And high elves… left for the Alliance.
When Blizzard gave Void elves some of the Blood Elf features, people started creating new “void elf” characters to roleplay as High Elves, always intending to be high elves, not void elves.
Until the day Blizzard gives us proper High Elves, it’s going to always be that way.
I do have one Blood Elf gripe.
Dracthyr Male Visages, which are Blood Elf-based, can have dreads, and I wish my actual Blood Elves could have dreads.
Just leave the Horde and everything will be fine.
No
Go away.
Nope, here to stay.
I’m an actual player?!
Your Orc is a joke.
As is your bloody elf…
We are all jokes. None of us really exist. Driven avatars.
Belves have been in the Horde for almost 18 years. Kids born then will be adults. We are here to stay.
