Humans did not evolve from apes in WoW. Welcome to fantasy where rules of science only apply once in awhile, and myth is a more accurate representation of history.

but if humans, or any other race didn’t evolve from monke how can they be greater monke? and why can’t we return to monke?

Someone got really mad at me one time when I pointed out that Pandaran were a magical kobold mutation and that they didn’t literally evolve from pandas lol

None that’s not how they work. Humans, Dwarves, gnomes descend from titan constructs. All the “animal” races descend from wild gods. (Worgen in an indirect way). Draenei and Orcs are aliens. Trolls evolved naturally and elves are mutations thereof. Goblins I believe are just pygmies or some other primitive race that was subjected to a lot of Kuja which I think BFA said is related to or straight up is azerite. Undead are just the other races (humans for pc undead) that have died and been resurrected into undeath.

Didn’t humans, dwarves, Gomes etc, all come from the Curse of flesh from the void lord’s? Their original design was mechanical.
Or in real life, disregarding what religious beliefs a person might have.
It was more of a Lemur like creature, if I remember correctly, that split off into what became Lemurs/Apes and Humans. Hmm, or actually I think add Neanderthals somewhere in there too; they were another split somewhere (but close enough that “Humans” (Cro-magnons?) and Neanderthals could interbreed.
My pastor told me that humans were deposited on earth about 440,000 years ago by an alien race that populates all iron balls that are 100 million to 200 million kilometers from a yellow dwarf star with mammals engineered for high manual dexterity. Once they reach a self sustaining population of 5 to 10 billion entities they provide them with the technology to convert all the silicon in the crust into quantum computers. They’re in a race to reverse engineer something and it will take all the silicon in this universe to do it before the last neutrons decay.
