To be fair, and honestly I have zero interest in that game anyway, but most games aren’t at their best when they’re first released, which is why I almost never buy anything until it matures a little. Let’s see, vanilla looked horrid to me so I waited for BC, and even then I didn’t fully enjoy it until wrath. D3 sucked outright before it’s expansion. FF14 1.0 almost died on the spot. I could probably go on, feel free to add to the list I’m sure there’s more.

For every video criticizing the game, there’s another praising it, much like WoW, much like any game.
And besides, just because the grass isn’t always greener on the other side, doesn’t mean you have to wallow around in the dead grass over here either.

As much as I didn’t care for New World, people on YouTube/Twitch/etc. will always try to drum up controversy because it gets more views.
So somebody saying it’s a broken mess doesn’t mean a whole lot to me.

If you watch the video he actually describes what’s literally broken. Not just an opinion about how he doesn’t like something, like what happens on the WoW forums 24/7.

This is a brand new game that just came out.
Does anybody remember what WoW 1.0 was like? It, too, was a broken mess.
What really makes an MMO what it is, is the developers and their ability to…
1). Care about the game and how fun it is, rather than seeing it as a cash cow
2). Listen to player feedback and actually improve the game
3). Give players confidence that they intend to make the game better
Blizzard is failing at all 3 points lately.
I can’t speak for New World, though, and it’s too early to tell where they fall in this spectrum. If they do well at the above 3 points, give them a year or two. New World could easily surpass WoW if Blizz doesn’t get its act together in that time-frame.
I don’t play New World myself, but I’m hoping it does improve. More games coming out that are better than WoW might actually force Blizz to care.

Are you really comparing 15 years of polish to about 2 weeks?
If anything we should be disappointed it has taken almost a year just to get the fixes in 9.1.5.

I just want WoW to be good. I do not care what other mmos are doing if I did I would be on their forums. But I am here. On a WoW forum.

You see he cannot refute my arguments and just resorts to name calling.The clear sign he has lost. Also as someone who plays on both WRA and MG I always found WRA was supposed to be against “Goldshire RP” yet here you are defending a game rife with it.
Then again it would explain why he went to FFXIV.

Hey I have nothing agaisnt FFXIV in general heck if the next x pack is another Shadowlands I may go there… I just don’t like it when FFXIV fans come on wow and say their game is perfect in every way… I just want to show that is not the case.
I mean just because FFXIV does not have the best RP does not mean it is better than wow in other places.
