He doesn’t seem to be very bright, no pun intended.
If you have been paying attention to the afterlives videos you would notice that the jailer isnt the true endgame of the shadowlands. “The Darkness” was referenced twice in the uther afterlives short and its been stated time and time again that the jailer was put there to keep “The Darkness” in check.
Does “The Darkness” mean Nathrezim or something else? No one knows yet.

I’ve seen it surmised that the real threat is death and the other powers (light, shadow, life, order, and chaos) have been underestimating the threat.

Endgame as in final boss or what is the threat leading into the next expansion?
Because blizz has stated the jailer is the last boss and that they’re excited to go back to that lich king/deathwing formula again
Source? Because they have never officially said the Jailer was the final boss of Shadowlands, players just assumed it to be.
Just because you read something on the forums or a wiki doesn’t make it true.

The Jail, where the Jailer is kept jailing will be the last thing to destroy in Shadowlands… OR will it be the shadows???

Except most of what they’ve said had eventually become true. Look at Yogg’saron’s puzzle box, Il’gynoth in Legion, CoS raid in BFA. And Il’gynoth and N’zoth whispers are already starting to become true.
Can we get an f for our boi Grom who was also supposed to be a final boss on the box cover.
