Pretty much have to do one or the other, probably both, to have a chance at it. Wonderful design that I’m sure most of this ree forum will praise.

I know someone who outsourced field marshal…he said the guy got death threats lol. There is going to be an unprecedented amount of drama over this GM/HWL grind. I’m expecting a few court cases and deaths.
I just want the blue pvp set. Luckily as a paladin it’ll be the same color scheme =D

You don’t have to pay people. You get a group of 4 or 5 people, keep one on top (for 3 weeks? I forget) with people taking turns playing it nonstop or supporting on other accoubts, then cycle through until all have it.
At least that’s how they were doing on my server back in the day.
I got Knight Champ while maintaining a full time job and hitting up the bars on the weekends.
They lessened the grind requirements eventually. I hear the grind (post rank 10 or 11) was absolutely awful early on since there could only be one FM/HWL per server and failure to get first place was a major penalty towards getting there. I will be PvPing a lot and trying for it, but whether I hit it or not is another thing I suppose. I’ll at least get a high rank of some sort.
The biggest issue I foresee is that the server is so much bigger that ranking on servers might be extremely difficult.
You do need to pay people. You can assume a few people are going to hire 4 or 5 dudes to play from their houses and/or VPN to make it look like it’s the same IP so we are talking 24/7 nolife grind. People are probably already training Indian and Chinese kids for this. Expect hell.

Unless Blizzard buffs the gear not that many people will do it.
Unless blizzard bans the entire Chinese ip range, bracket 1 requirements will end up being astronomical (ie, around 1-1.5mil+ honor/week). R14 accounts will be extremely valuable for rmt.
A lot of people are going to be very upset

Ya im a pretty decent pvper with duelist under my belt a few times and im not about that grind. Im gonna spam the sh*t out of BGs with my friends/ex arena partners to see how high we can get, but i have a job
Most people who are actually good at the game pvp and pve lol

That’s not true at all. Some of the gear pieces, especially the weapons are BIS for a long time.
I’ll do what I did in OG, I’ll do the grind to rank 10 or 11, and if more seems possible, I’ll try for higher.
That said, the very first week I decay, I will quit the grind, unlike in OG (where I made multiple failed attempts)
The other factor, is that I’ll want at least 2pc blue set for my two raiding toons, and at least rank 10 on my enhance pvp alt (or if I win the lotto or something and suddenly had enough free time, any further alts)

Im going to hit at least R12, its not impossible with my schedule but will still require near constant pvp play outside of raid hours. R14 is just a pipe dream because i have a family and job now a days. I remember back in the day rank 13 wasnt too terribly hard because i had no job or responsibilities - just required me to log in when i woke up and stay online pvp’ing until i went to sleep lol.

all you need is rank 13 for the gear rank 14 is for the weapon.ill be happy with the blue pvp set and the unstoppable force as an enhancement shaman.

Girl from my old server managed to HWL while attending college. Not sure if she worked, but she was on a lot more than me and I was unemployed back then.
