With the streets of Gilneas filling once more, the kingdom rebuilds, the people begin to write their story anew, and the faithful have returned to the opulent Light’s Dawn cathedral. The nobles squabble over laws and land and Market Square is bustling with patrons and vendors, all haggling for the best deals. Business is booming.
However, according to whispers on the wind, there’s another market; a secret market, kept well away from the general public where illicit goods and services are available for sale. Yes, the Gilneas Black Market, which is spoken of only in hushed tones and watched by only the best in the security business, has made a place for itself.
Be you a patron or a vendor at the Gilneas Black Market, you will undoubtedly find what you seek - for a price.
(The Gilnean Black Market is a place for those of the less-than-legal persuasion to ICly buy and sell wares. Guidelines may be found within our discord and must be reviewed before posting menu links. What kind of merchant booths are you looking for? We are currently looking for fun and darker themed booths that fall in line with the guidelines of our community which can be found in our discord server. Examples - Poison Crafter, Abomination Parts, Pirate goods, Fenced Illegal goods, questionable magical item, etc Please keep your booth and wares R-rated and below.
Can I host a new booth? Absolutely! We just ask that the booth falls in line with the theme of the market. We aim to create a certain vibe and aesthetic for this market that provides a quality RP experience for our visitors.
Do RP merchants charge in game gold? Most merchants generally take rp currency, not game gold. However, it is important to remember that each merchant is different, some merchants might charge game gold for valuable rp items such as crafted goods and toys. Gold tips are always welcome however.
Are there limitations on the items I can sell as a vendor? While we are aware that this is a ‘Black Market’ or ‘Illicit Market’ there are certain darker adult themes that are not allowed within this event. We allow up to an ‘R’ rating in terms of content. Sexual content of any kind is not allowed. More information on this can be found within our server.
