Does Shadowlands or does anything anywhere talk about how this has been resolved? Is it still killing Azeroth?

We’re going to plant some trees around it and forget it’s there. Then we’ll declare it a forbidden zone and deny its existence.
Seriously though, I want an expansion where life pours out of the wound and turns Silithus into a jungle, and that leads us underground to Azeroth’s egg as she hatches.

I feel like there is a real disconnect at Blizzard… They going to write a book or something?
Azeroth the planet actually is emo now and prefers it stuck inside her.
I could be wrong but to me magni at the end of 8.3 saying azeroth was crying out in pain since the sword struck but now we got rid of the old gods she is fine and happy tells me all is good now.

I would say the story is incomplete ,as for it being still there it still a part of a story that will be coming up in a future time. Theory though,the sword is part now of Azeroth and we pretty much bandage her up.
When she hatched into titanroth, she rips the sword out and picks her teeth with it. “Not long enough”.

My guess is we’ll be dealing with it in the expansion after Shadowlands since I heard rumors that it’ll be time skip. Though not sure if this part is true.

Fear not. Sylvanas will likely turn into a Titan with the power of the Maw and pull out the sword and charge it with Maw energy, and then when it has Maw and Azeroth energy in it, Sylvanas will become the new goddess of everything, slash Elune in half, and the Night Elves will finally be no more.
That’s where all this was heading, right? No? Well, then I’m plumb out of conspiracy theories.
