"The Getaway" Quest broke my character - BUGGED/Unplayable

My character is bugged and needs to be reset somehow. This character is unplayable. During “The Getaway” quest in the Undermine I exited the vehicle while the quest was still in progress (I thought the quest was over). My character exited the vehicle, however, the game still thinks my character is in the quest vehicle. I only have 4 vehicle buttons showing on my UI but none of them work. Additionally, no toys, mounts or items work either. I am unable to interact with anything.

I do not think this is a simple UI issue. I think my character is in a bugged state where it still thinks I’m in a quest vehicle and hence unable to interact with anything or play the game. I need my character “reset” somehow so that I am out of the vehicle phase and can interact with my buttons and the world again.

Things I have already tried that did not fix the issue:

  1. Using character unstuck service.
  2. Renaming the Cache, Interface, and WTF folders to CacheOld, InterfaceOld, and WTFOld.
  3. Using console command, /console cvar_default
  4. Disabling all addons and reloading UI.
  5. Queuing for an instanced dungeon (my character enters the dungeon still in a bugged state).
  6. Queuing for an arena match (my character enters the arena still in a bugged state).
  7. Dying (I respawn still in a bugged state)
  8. Abandoning the quest and restarting it (I cannot enter the quest vehicle, it says “You can’t do that right now.”

First thing I would’ve tried is abandoning and restarting the quest tbh. Next would be queueing into an arena skirmish and/or dying.

Yes, I’ve tried these.

  1. When I abandon the quest and try to restart it, I cannot enter the quest vehicle. It says, “You can’t do that right now”.
  2. When I queue into an arena match, I enter it still bugged.
  3. I’ve died and when I respawn I’m still bugged.

Piggybacking off this because I think this quest is just buggy. I get kicked out of the car during the totem-throwing portion of this quest. Have completely reset my UI and it still kicks me out for some reason. It kicks me out at the same place every time: 43.05, 71.54.

Yep, came here as I just tried it today. I threw 1 totem and suddenly was ejected from vehicle. Abandoned quest. I think I’ll wait a bit to try to pick it back up again.

One of the world quests can kick you out of the car

Same here, my interface is locked on the totem interface of that quest and I submitted a ticket yet haven’t had any help thus my priest is unplayable at this time :frowning:

If your interface is stuck on the vehicle UI, you just need to find another vehicle to enter such as another player’s 2 seater mount.

Hmm i can enter the vehicle that comes in undermine but the quest one I can not re-enter and even after I enter the basic undermine vehicle the UI changes to that one then when I get out it goes back to the totem UI from the quest; think it would work with another persons 2 seater?

the g-99 breakneck is more of a mount than a vehicle
