And they should nerf crests. 6x limit on aspect, 8x on wyrm.
15 each is insane. The gearing system being obsolete week 3 is dumb. There isnt even a decision to make with it. Just upgrade everything.

Not really. Consider a 15 man heroic raid group, where going just 5/9 gives 2 shots at 2 different slots per week and that such a group can go 9/9 heroic for 2 shots at each slot plus an Omni, and that LFR gives a shot at less rate.
In just two weeks, that’s 8 hand tokens and 8 leg tokens between 15 players by itself. Even with just normal/heroic 5/9, chances are at least a few people will passively get their 2 set.
Someone who sees a 3-6 chest vault has around a 70% chance to see at least one tier piece.
And players who hit 2k rating het a slot of their choice. Thus, it’s very probable to have at least a few 4p bonuses online in a raid group already even without a funnel.
But with another weekly reset, the odds of an M+ player having at least their 2 set and like a 3 piece without their token is very high.
As long as you don’t burn your 2k Omni token frivolously, you could basically spend an hour pugging 5/9 normal somewhat casually and perhaps a bit more for 5/9 heroic. Hell, even a 3/9 heroic with an undergeared group can be done in about an hour if they aren’t potatoes
For the average M+ player who is just active doing 8 keys over a week and nothing else, it’s very improbable to NOT have 4p before catalyst unlocks.
Someone will win that lotto, sure, but they’re definitely in outlier territory
Yeah, trinket drop rates are absurd right now.
It’s not 15 each it’s 10 each.
You shouldn’t have to sit on your currency and not spend it. Valor cap was giga cringe.
All this said, 8 crests is a nerf one could stomach since it would result in the fragment amounts being “clean”. 12 isn’t a factor of 150, but both 12 and 15 are factors of 120.
You spend <10 mins for raid boss and 20+ mins for m+ clean out.
But, you can kill raid boss “once” per week meanwhile you can keep farming m+ for needed piece, so It depends.
Just gotta take it with a grain of salt tbh. Sure they’re neat bonuses but everything will eventually be replaced. It always will be
You are doing it wrong. Lariat is only strong now with a ton of gems. Since you refuse to give up your ring sockets you’re inflating it’s value. Swap the neck for the new one you have and the value of those sockets will drop. My guess is you’re just bad at simming if you don’t see this. The only point you might have is tier sets bonus, but that’s how pretty much every tier is if your set bonus is worth anything.
Forcing folx to craft is ridiculous.
I can’t agree or care to argue most of what you said, but this part sticks out. Dungeon trinkets are an absolute dumpster fire this season. Neltharus drops one good trinket, everything else is meh. Raid trinkets just blow almost every single one out of the water regardless of iLvl.

Did you put the sockets on your new neck before simming?
I like tier sets but I do think it’s tedious replacing them. They should just disable the set bonuses when a new raid drops.

I’m 3 weeks into the season with only one drop to my name and it came from the vault.
