Well since I haven’t seen a blue post on what is going on with this quest, time to make another thread. The NPC despawns and never returns…many of us have abandoned quest to try to get the NPC to respawn so we can continue the questline to no avail. I have a feeling it has something to do with the world quest that was right on top of it since I see gathering nodes disappear constantly when i phase into a world quest. But went back just now and still no NPC anywhere in the area. Be nice to have a response from Blizz on this considering its just a major part of progressing with your covenant is all…

It’s so frustrating. We need it to continue, it’s not like it’s a side quest we can just ignore. I’d feel a lot better if we could even get a “we’re aware of this and working on it” from Blizzard.

Same problem, I abandoned the request, I now have a quest marker on my map to reacquire, but of course it can’t actually be found on the ground, if it exists.
Very frustrating is a valid description.
Might just be more covert time gating. Excellent strategy Blizz!
I finally found a helpful person to share and was able to continue. All it took was listing a group and spaming general chat for like two hours 
I think they brought in the King Mobile devs to learn how to time gate correctly.

so small work around, i found a guy who was doing the quests prior to this 1, he was looking for the turn in guy, i told him he had to abandon the web quest and do it again, we formed a group, when he turned it in, he was able to see the next quest and he shared it to me
Sadly I had already turned in the web quest and the pruning quest. I also did the world quest successfully. But I cannot find how to turn in the Spriggan Snares quest - no NPC. Since I already did the first two and turned them in - I can’t abandon them. This is so frustrating. I have turned in a ticket and put in a bug report.

Same problem here. I can’t see to find anyone to share it with me. I really wish I hadn’t abandoned it. I guess I am stuck until next week.
edit: finally got someone to join my group. We were both stuck on different parts of the quest chain. We went back to around where you first meet the stag. The stag re-appeared to us. I was able to accept “the garden of the night” quest. He, however, is still stuck unable to pass in his quest.
