The game genuinely feels dead

hahahah… another alliance who whines… go farm or something in between Q’s lol…

Or the arena ladder having nobody in it.

What would represent a massive shift in pvp sentiment then? There’s nobody to do arenas with and i cant do bgs or solo shuffle…for all intents and purposes, that is dead, and it has never felt quite this dead ever. Its an subjective fact but the truth is that i played every iteration of the game consistently since it began. The world feels bland; the gearing system is not enjoyable to me and i believe despite the vocal support there is a silent majority who prefer having stuff to grind for, and i cant push rating literally because of the absurd queue times.

So i cant bg for gear because you are done in 5 minutes. I cant arena…i cant do solo shuffle. And im sure theres tons of people saying the same thing.

What is left to do for someone who primarily pvps? Log off. Thats what.

Sorry but this is a personal problem.

If the game feels “dead” to you then I guess you need to move on.

You are seeking confirmation bias and nothing we can say will convince you otherwise.

That just means there’s a lot more Alliance queuing than Horde in DF.

There aren’t enough healers. Ideally, there would be a 1 healer to 2 DPS ratio in the RSS queue. Unfortunately, right now, it’s probably like 1 healer to 10 DPS. So, the DPS queues get longer and longer. Healers aren’t queuing for RSS because it’s stressful/frustrating/harder to climb/etc. RSS is a lot more fun for DPS.

A lot of players who used to be ladder fodder in 2s and 3s shifted over to RSS. So, 2s and 3s are deflated right now and it’s mostly PvPers who were at the top of the ladder.

I remember longer queues just trying to get into the game.

Did you see what happened when WoW Classic launched? People were using remote desktop to begin the login process a few hours ahead of time. People were using fans to hit the spacebar so they wouldn’t be marked as AFK and booted out of the game.

Blizzard is aware of the queue problems. There’s merc mode for the Alliance if you want faster random bg queues. For RSS, they’re trying to come up with various solutions to get more healers to queue up. In the next patch, they’re reducing CCs so games are less frustrating for healers.

They need to make it to where you can get conquest with honor.

5000 honor traded for 350 conquest would be a good start

Either that or just one set of gear for pvp.

horde ques were 20 minutes in mop, the currently fotm faction will always have higher que times. Op I suggest you make a toon on horde and alliance and swap based on who has the higher ques.

since the 2pc change happened alot of people went alliance. Im going to say horde times slightly improved while alliance ques got longer. Shuffle que times are from a healer shortage. Gotten worse as the seasons went on.

The fix is easy. 2v2 dps only 3 rounds swap teams. 0 rating lost and gained at 1 win. Rating gain at 2 wins.

Some DPS specs are squishy and they need a healer to be competitive.

Squishy DPS would be doomed to lose rating.

Id que all day on my hunter. We are paper rn.

Did you see anything cool? It looks kinda meh to me.

The cloak and librams are ok. Also, quivers for hunters.

Are there new cosmetics?

I think so. But, I’m not an xmog expert, so maybe that stuff is in the game already.

Oh nice another mount for my collection!
