Say what you will about the game, but I’ve never seen the forum remotely this quiet before. Posts are getting a few dozen response where they used to receive hundreds. Even during the depths of the WOD content drought it was never this slow.
While it’s just a guess, I imagine we’re at the lowest population level WoW has ever seen.

If political threads were allowed on GD, you’d see tons of long threads. I was just in threads about Covid and Afghanistan that got moved to off-topic, then died.
It’s almost like there’s been a massive loss of interest in this game.

To be fair, most of the players seem to be in denial about that. Many still say everything is fine and that the population isn’t dropping.

The forums are slow?
We’re literally at the back end of the lawsuit crisis and I’m sure the forums will explode at something else (rightfully or not) in a week or so.
As per the usual.

Using forum activity as a gauge for that is a new level of reach.

Might be slower but it’s still very active for what it is.

icy-veins, wowhead, and WoW reddit get 50%+ more visits than the WoW forum. WoWheads in like the top 500 most visited websites in the world to boot.
I know I’m not posting nearly as much because there seems to be a drought of “You wake up and suddenly…” threads.

Did I drive everyone away? I’m sorry.

I mean many players did transition to another haven not too long ago. This game is going to be quiet for awhile until positive stuff happens to it under new hires.
