The fleets in 8.2

so both the alliance and horde fleet are absolutely demolished by azshara’s trap but i have to ask, what about jaina’s ship is it gonna float in midair and jaina goes “oh woops, sorry guys” or do we all float down here WE ALL FLOAT!

I mean, that the Naga were going to punk the KT fleet was the most telegraphed “surprise” perhaps ever.

both fleets get “punked” so we have no more ships. literally nothing left. we have nothing.

So you’re telling me… the whole reason the Alliance goes to Dazar’alor… is pointless, because the Horde still has a fleet? Or are they just using the term “fleet” in a very general sense, as in, the few Sea Worthy Horde ships that remain?

To be honest if we all floated in the way you’re describing we wouldn’t really have an issue.

Probably this. A fleet is a fleet even if it sucks.

The Alliance and Horde have multiple Fleets. For the Alliance one of the Fleets were wiped out by the Zandalari Fleet(the best of the Horde’s fleets) necessitating the Kul Tiran Fleet.

The Zandalari Fleet was wiped out by the Alliance at Dazar’alor along with the Forsaken Fleet at Boralus thus forcing the Horde to resort to sacrificing the Blood Elf Fleet just to disable the Kul Tiran Fleet by baiting it to Nazjatar.

In otherwords the Horde desperately just used up it’s last Fleet to get rid of the Alliance’s best Fleet leaving the Alliance with the 7th Fleet that attacked Dazar’alor and the 3rd Fleet which invaded Lordaeron.

The Horde better hope the 7th and 3rd Fleets don’t come straight to Orgrimmar while the shipwrecked Kul Tiran Fleet fights Azshara alongside the sacrificed Blood Elven Fleet…

The Horde still will have the orc fleet, and a few goblin ships. And after dazalor, they in theory should be able to raise a lot of new forsaken ships.

the devs say that the horde sends what few remaining ships they had left. its a fleet in the way that it is more than one ship

I’mean, if you really want to feel better about it.

The deeply outdated Kul Tiran and Zandalari fleets were sort of only presented as good as they were because Blizz nerfed the ever loving snot out of both factions. We were developing Submarines and Airships in Cata, and friggen Air-Craft Carriers in WoD. Why on earth should I ever believe that these two fleets, isolated from the advancements of the rest of the world … were so important?

I guess the argument was something like “we didn’t have time to build up replacements before this war started, which is why Sylvie chose when she did to start it”, but pretty sure its been like several months since the war started now. Where are both factions manufacturing power at?

Heh I just watched this a few days ago. My biggest beef with it is I feel they did too good of a job dismantling the threat It poses. By the end of it he was totally trashed and fleeing for his life, how do you build him up as scary/threatening again after that? In the miniseries version they stopped at getting one good blow on him like at the remake’s Neibolt house scene with the impalement.

they were only able to do that because they were together, so you divide and conquer

The horde still has the forsaken. Fleet and the orcish fleet so an attack on org proper is not the best course of action. Also the zandalari lost only half their fleet which granted is a lot but the are still capable of using that. The alliance has a third fleet though I knew about 7th fleet but when did third fleet come in to play?

i believe we used it when we attack lordaeron.

not anymore, they are all splinters on nazjatar now

Remember the ships Sylvanas ordered to built in the docks or the few remmains of the zandalari fleet? Well you got all of those ships sinked by the naga

Alright, this makes more sense then.

This is also true. The status quo mus be met.

I mean, the Horde has an Iron Carrier in the Nazmir invasion, at least.

Loool can you imagine a scene like this but its Jaina’s ship chasing all the Horde leaders on one canoe in the middle of the ocean?
