Eat it Elves. You came in second.
We’re more important than you.

Oh God… Here we go…
How far back you wanna go, brah? Pretty sure a human was the first race seen in a WarCraft cinematic: Opening video of WarCraft 2.
Whoop-de-doo!
What’s a cinematic? Wouldn’t know anything about that…
Are we talking Warcraft 1 here? Cause Warcraft 1 was Orcs verse Humans. There were dwarves but they weren’t featured in any of the cinematics. Nor were they in any of the WC2 cinematics. Nor in WC3 from what I remember.
This opening Cinema is the sole reason why my first toon ever was a dwarf hunter. It just looked so humble yet badass.
It’s in the title of the thread: “The first race to be shown ever in WoW cinemas”
member how dwarves looked in vanilla

Actually, the first race ever to be shown in WoW Cinemas was “Ogrimmar Run”, a comedy-action film about seventy-three chariot and cart teams on a mad dash from Tanaris to Ogrimmar. Noted for it’s unusually large cast and surprising response (considering it was Blitzskiff Goldsniffar’s first major directing debut, being known before for Goblixpolitaion B-movies), it was third in revenues for that year, being passed by “The Light over Booty Bay”, a romantic adventure flick from Theron Leafsinger and “The Cabinet of Dreams”, an avant-garde art film from a group of students at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dalaran. It first premiered at the Ironforge Grand to standing room performances.
“WoW cinemas” isn’t a place. You need to specify better. “First race seen on the big screen” would’ve made it clearer.
“WoW cinemas” sounds like a badly-worded attempt to say “WoW cinematics.”
You need to specify better.
No I don’t. This isn’t my thread but I knew what he meant.
OOO I’LL PLAY!
Cannonball Run
The Lights of London
…
Only one that pops to mind is Field of Dreams but that wasn’t a student art film…
I fail.
And your still one of the least interesting races to play…
“World of Warcraft” is not Warcraft. Wish people would realize this
Was pretty sure the first displayed character on WoW cinematics was The Snow. Especially if the title logo doesn’t count. Alternatively, it could have been the trees, but The Snow was definitely a major player in that scene.
Hmmm… these show tauren in #1 and orc in #2…
watched both. Considering the old saying “What is scrapped doesn’t count.” These are just…bad videos.
“What is scrapped doesn’t count.”
#2 wasn’t scrapped. Was on the Warcraft III install disc.
It may have been bad… but it’s what they shipped lol
#2 wasn’t scrapped. Was on the Warcraft III install disc.
Well then it doesn’t count because it’s the wrong game.
