Is more epic than Blizzard’s current writing.
There was absolutely nothing wrong with the writing in WOTLK
Almost everyone, including the “lore people” loved the Lich King storyline with Old God undertones
Lich King was over a decade ago.
never said it wasn’t, but your video is based off of WOTLK lore displayed in a comedic manner
almost feels like you’re insinuating that WOTLK lore was also bad.
WoW lore was never good
The fact we had a tournament at the doorstep of the lich king basically for the lulz(literally on his territory, at his gate, at the side of his infinite army) and a cartoon villain lich king always metting you and letting you live(borean tundra, zul drak) was also terrible.
Yeah, we can agree to disagree because that is even worth trying to reason with.
if you actually had an attention span, you’d realize the faint part of Arthas still left inside the Lich King was the part holding him back from killing us, or the entire world for that matter. Uther says this in the HOR, and him holding on to personal keepsakes like Jaina’s locket was to reinforce this
his mercy wasn’t stupidity from being a “cartoon villain”; it was much deeper than that.
pay attention next time.
If you actually had a descent taste for stories and did know basic story telling you would know this is utter crap. But alas this is all you can prolly absorb.
Literally made no sense to keep showing saying two lines and teleporting back.
It seems you are the guy that would love far cry 5 story.
Its just as terrible.
It was pretty stupid, like a cartoon villain.
Fact.
Go read descent stories, wow story telling is horrid.
Like Darth Vader holding back from killing Luke because he also still had a remnant of good in him right?
You’re a clown and clearly have no taste for interesting antagonists.
No, your opinions aren’t fact, thanks. Take your ego and walk away.
You’re asking a community that still hasn’t figured out that “Tyrande I need you!” is being yelled by Xavius, and not Malfurion, to pay attention to the story.
The tournament was placed there in a showing of defiance.
Like, hey, we know you’re right there, but we’re going to take this spot and make it ours, and we’ll even hold a tournament here to form an army of the best of the best, and there’s nothing you can do to stop us!
In fantasy lore, there are generally no shortage of knights, heroes, adventurers, etc… that seek the challenge, quest, task, etc…
So in order to determine who amongst them is most worthy of the honor, there is some kind of tournament. The Argent Tournament is no different in this regard
There was a purpose to this: He was testing us.
He wanted to ensure that we were the “greatest fighting force the world had ever known” because his intention was to raise us up as masters of the scourge so that we could be the final pieces in his conquest to destroy the life of azeroth. Becuase if the greatest champions the world has to offer are not only defeated, but turned against it, what hope is there of any victory?
I kinda just lol at the fact that FROSTMOURNE is STILL in his chest come the end of the video XD…
His face is just like “Okay we’re doing THIS again for the 120nd time…”.
Mokon.
Maybe Blizzard should have better hinted it was Xavius hiding as Malfurion, or something…?
